Player Profiles

When Bob is not in Battle Mode, the player is able to configure a profile for themselves. The player's profile is created the first time they play a BattleBob game, or the first time they attempt to configure a profile. This profile is tied to the player's Nickname in the Zero Virus Chat, so it's important that any time you play BattleBob, to always use the same name. Registering your name in the Zero Virus Chat is a surefire way to protect your BattleBob player profile. (For more information on how to register your nickname, please read the Darkmyst IRC Server Help Page.)

The player's profile will always diplay the player's Rank, EXP, Zenny, and (if applicable) JP, as well as their Class.

Aside from the default statistics, there are optional profile settings that can be configured by the player. These include the player's Gender, their Signature Weapon, and their Signature Move.

Profile Commands

`profile `profile simply displays the player's profile. This profile lists off the player's Name, Rank, Gender (if applicable), Signature Weapon (if applicable), Signature Move (if applicable), Experience, JP (if applicable), Class, Zenny, Single Player battle record, Standard battle record, Double battle record, and total number of Overkills achieved across all game modes.

`profile does not work if you have not yet created a BattleBob profile with the nickname you're using in the Zero Virus Chat. A profile is created for you the first time you play a BattleBob match, or the first time you configure your profile with `gender, `sigwep, or `sigmove.

While `profile does not require any additional input, placing a player's name after the script call will look up that player's profile specifically. If left blank, Bob will display the profile of the player who called it.

The Syntax is as follows:

`profile

`profile <Player Name>

Example:

<Nightmare> `profile
<Bob> Nightmare's Profile
...........

<Nightmare> `profile sorrum
<Bob> Sorrum's Profile
...........

`gender `gender allows the player to specify their gender to Bob, which will change the pronouns used to describe their actions in BattleBob matches. By default, players have their genders set to "Undefined" and will use gender neutral pronouns to describe the player (they/their/them.) Here are some examples:

<FDSuprema> `attack
<BattleBob> * FDSuprema pulls back their fist, then kicks off the ground, propelling themself through the air as they delivers a powerful, energy-charged punch to Frozt's face!

<Majeh> `attack
<BattleBob> * Majeh pulls back his fist, then kicks off the ground, propelling himself through the air as he delivers a powerful, energy-charged punch to Frozt's face!

<Silver> `attack
<BattleBob> * Silver pulls back her fist, then kicks off the ground, propelling herself through the air as she delivers a powerful, energy-charged punch to Frozt's face!

The player can set their gender by using `gender outside of battle and specifying after the script call either "male" or "female." Should the player so wish, they can delete their gender after it has been set and return to an undefined gender by specifying "unset" after the script call.

The Syntax is as follows:

`gender <Male/Female/Unset>

Example:

<Nightmare> `gender Male
<Bob> Nightmare's gender has been set to "Male".

<Nightmare> `gender Unset
<Bob> Nightmare's gender has been unset.

`sigmove `sigmove allows the player to set a Signature Move in their profile. This Signature Move will permanently act as the player's ultimate attack executed by the `special command in BattleBob matches.

By default, the `special command will use a random special when called, but using `sigmove to set the player's special helps give a more personalized BattleBob experience (since there's nothing cooler than finishing off the opponent with you favorite attack!) The player's signature move can be set by adding the ID of the special after the script call.

`sigwep `sigwep allows the player to set a Signature Weapon in their profile. Setting the Signature Weapon allows the player to start battle wielding said weapon in the "Signature" ruleset. Certain Artifacts also allow the player to wield their Signature Weapon.

Only weapons with a Threat Level of 5 or lower can be used as signature weapons, however. This is to prevent the player from having easy access to overly powerful weapons at the start of battle. The player's signature weapon can be set by adding the ID of the weapon after the script call.
