I think you should. By letting them post they can interact with everyone else and that can give them the incentive to join if they like it. But you should have members only areas (ex. sprites, art&graphics)

I editted the "Other" category so that guests can post, I logged out and tested it myself so I know its working. Think anyone will notice?

No, they shouldn't. If they wanna post, they should make an account first, the that will bring in more people. I hate when guests post, it's annoying

No. Unless you make a separate forum for them to responde to certain things. It will help the joining process. In the other forum I joined, Unregistered people make useless post most of the time.

I say let them post-around the board cause they might l get an idea as to how a forum works and then if they like it they might join. who knows i could be wrong, Im just fresh meat after all.

[glow=red,2,300]I would say HECK NO, because then they can spam, and if you ban the ip, they may be in school, and just go to another comp, plus you never know who you are talkin to with guests all over the place, it will just say guest, if guests post, then is there really much point in there minds to sign up.. Now you could make 1 categor for guests to post, that would be good[/glow]

In this i can't make any choices...but i like to say that IF they are permitted, it'll be a good thing, we can have more visitors and this place will be more crowded and fun!!! But, the posts will keep coming and coming non-stop, you may see non-stop spamming or more. Until the day you can't control the amount of out-comers...then you'll see...
If you forbid them coming, yes that's equally good, no one will simply cut in our chat or posts and send some crappy stuff....but the range for people to join this forum will be limited. No one will come here because they have to be a member, which is something many hate to do. But many of us would like them to post here!!
Sorry for this neutral talk, but for all rights, let me make everything equal....lol
