Apparently, if you count to twenty-four before going to sleep, you're probably bound to have dreams about twenty-four sheep trying to finish the arrangements of a wedding between a duck and a goose. Is that even a thing. I feel like this requires more study. Someone get on this.

Ladies and gentlemen, after much deliberation the ZV community has decided to hold a special gathering this Sunday, April 30th, in the Zero Virus IRC chat channel. The purpose of this gathering is to give everyone an opportunity to share some of their untold fictional stories and ideas from the past, present, or future, which revolve around the Zero Virus community and fictional universe we all have helped create. For example, have you ever wondered how the story of Black Crescent ended in Xero's Cursed Bloodlines? Or just how drastic have the changed been between NMMZ Comics and the Nightmare Chronicles? Or do you have your own fictional ideas and characters that you've never really been able to bring to light? Now is the perfect time to discuss them, and help us all get a better insight into each other's imaginations.
We plan to get together in the Zero Virus IRC chat on Sunday, April 30th at 3pm EST, commence the discussions no later than 5pm EST, and will continue the discussions for as long as people are interested. While some of us already have things prepared to talk about, we more than welcome any and all input from everyone either on our own stories, or any of your own fictions you wish to discuss. If this kind of discussion is popular enough, we may do this on a more regular basis. But for now, we're looking forward to sharing our treasured stories with everyone, and hope to see you all this Sunday!

It's that time again guys, where we look back and assess the situation that is Xero Fantasy. Gonna give you guys a brief insight as to what is going on, what I expect to happen in the future, and get some suggestions and input from all of you. This time, I think we're gonna handle it one game at a time, so let's start at the beginning, where else? Final FantasyBy now Final Fantasy has wrapped up on YouTube, and aside from a few technical glitches I think it went well. Viewership is low but steady, and earlier episodes are slowly getting more views. So either you guys are going back and watching them, or it's slowly but surely getting out there, which I am more than happy with both of those. Overall it's received a positive response, nearly every video has at least one like and while the comments are few and far between, they've been positive. So, what was your favorite part of Final Fantasy I from the YouTube videos? Anything you think I could have done better? Feel free to leave a comment right in this thread. Final Fantasy IIFinal Fantasy II has wrapped up on the live stream portion, YouTube videos will hopefully be up by Monday, March 6th. Not gonna lie to you, I've just been behind due to some real life stuff, but I should be all caught up this week and everything will be back to normal by next week. But looking back on it, I really enjoyed Final Fantasy II. I got to beat the game which I had never done before, and had pretty good crowd participation through the whole things. You guys helped come up with some great jokes that lasted the whole series and made it alot of fun, so thanks for that. I plan on being a little more edit-heavy with FF2's YouTube episodes, hopefully cut down on some of the dead space and just random walking from FF1, cause this one does have a fair amount of it, especially in the beginning. Anything special you'd like to see in this series of videos? As usual, go ahead and leave your thoughts right in this thread. Final Fantasy IIIThe live stream for Final Fantasy III will begin Monday, March 6th. We will be playing the PSP version unless something drastic happens in the next day or two. I'll have a poll up on the Facebook page by the weekend, but I'm interested in what job classes you guys wanna see used first in the game, since this game does impliment the job class system similar to Final Fantasy V. Also, the four main characters can have custom names, so be thinking of what names you might wanna give our crew as well. Any other advice or questions about FF3, please go ahead and ask them in this thread. Xero Fantasy GofundmeXero Fantasy Gofundme PageThe gofundme I started to help build myself a new computer and get some better streaming equipment is technically still going, but has had virtually no progress made on it. So it's looking like I'll be using the same equipment for the foreseeable future. I'm gonna keep asking the same thing I have this whole time, if you're not able to donate at least spread the word, pass it along to anyone and everyone you know. The more people who know about it, the more people are likely to donate. And, as I said in a previous update, everyone who donates will receive a special gift from yours truly once the fund raiser is complete. Slight clue; it will probably be music related. So please try to keep this going so I can start providing everyone with an overall better Xero Fantasy experience. As always, thanks again to everyone who's been tuning in and supporting me. I'm still having a lot of fun with this, I hope all of you are too. Any questions or comments about any of the games, videos, series as a whole, go right ahead and leave them here in this thread. If nothing else, I'll see you guys on Monday for the live stream of Final Fantasy III!

First off, I want to thank everyone who's been helping out and supporting me with this whole Xero Fantasy thing. To everyone watching the live streams and giving me things to talk about and jokes to bounce around, to everyone watching the YouTube videos and subscribing to my channel, I sincerely thank you. Some specific shout-outs to Tony and Aerin, Aerin for letting me use her artwork and Tony for narrating my videos. I couldn't do this without all of you. I haven't posted anything here on the forum in a while, so I thought I'd post some updated info here, and go ahead and give you guys some advanced information. You know, some things to be thinking about for the future. With that said... Xero Bloodline Presents Xero FantasyLive Stream InfoMondays at 6pm EST Thursdays at 7pm ESTThis happens every week, and I have so much more fun when I have lots of people to interact with, so keep tuning in every week! Xero Fantasy on YouTubeXero Fantasy Episodes Every Monday thru Friday at 1pm ESTIf you ever miss a stream or just wanna relive the magic, check these out. However, starting Monday, January 16th 2017, episodes will begin uploading every day, so you never have to go without your Xero Fantasy fix! Xero Fantasy on FacebookCheck out Xero Fantasy on Facebook to keep up to date with all the updates for daily videos, useful Final Fantasy info, and expect some questions and polls very soon so you can help shape the future of Xero Fantasy! And now, just to give this part a fancy title... State of the Fantasy AddressHere I'm gonna give you guys an update of how things are going, a little behind-the-scenes info, and probably ask you for some opinions. Since you guys are some of my oldest friends and best fans, I can trust your advice. Right? Right. I plan on doing a few extra YouTube videos here and there, right now my plan is to just post one or two extra ones a week, probably one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Here I'll be covering extra stuff from the games, like the alternate bosses from the bonus dungeons in Final Fantasy I. Another possibility is this is where I'll post any spinoffs or direct sequels to games, FF4 The After Years is the first example that comes to mind. Whether or not I do them as live streams as well will be up to you guys. If you wanna see them live I can do that, so be thinking about that. As far as the live streams themselves, I feel like they are going well. Slowly but surely more people are tuning in on a regular basis, and that always makes my job easier. It really is hard to be engaging and a little entertaining when you're just playing a video game by yourself. I feel like I'm personally getting more comfortable behind the mic, and overall it feels less cumbersome to keep you guys interested. If that's not the case, please let me know, and feel free to offer any helpful advice. On that note, let me flat out ask you. How do you think Xero Fantasy is going? You guys enjoying the live stream? The YouTube episodes? Anything you think I could do differently to improve either one? Feel free to go ahead and comment right here in this thread, any comments or criticisms are welcome, so long as they aim to improve Xero Fantasy as a whole. Another thing I want you guys to be thinking about is these extra weekend videos I'm planning. Not every Final Fantasy has extra content for me to post, and the ones that do don't always have alot to go on. So, are there any other games you guys might be interested in seeing? You guys know my repertoire fairly well, what games I excel at and what I enjoy. Maybe some other RPG I can skim through and do edited and trimmed down videos for YouTube? You guys wanna just see me kick some demon ass in Devil May Cry? Maybe Mega Man it up for old times sakes (even though you guys have seen me do that to death already)? I'm open to any and all suggestions, so leave those here in this thread as well. Once again, thank you to everyone who's been checking out Xero Fantasy, I really do appreciate it. And go ahead and leave any questions or comments right here in this thread, or message me directly through the forum, the chat, Xero Fantasy on Facebook, plenty of ways to get in touch with me. Thank you very much, and that is the State of the Fantasy.

The chat is usually active, you've just had poor timing I suppose. I've noticed the few times you've come in, it's usually morning for the US east coast, so most of us are asleep or at work. I was gonna let you know that so you didn't think we were avoiding you or something. Either way, welcome back, feel free to keep popping in the chat, someone will be paying attention eventually.

Well if I keep on my schedule to play all the Final Fantasy, it's gonna be quite a while before I get to FFXV. But damn if I'm not gonna try.

We still have a couple of days to go, but I figured I would throw this up anyway just to get ahead a little. In the original Final Fantasy, you pick your party of four from the very beginning, and they stick with you through the entire game. I know which party I usually like, but I'm playing this for you guys, so I want your input. So, who should I put in my party? Here's a brief description of each class. For a full breakdown, if you're that curious, check out this wiki page. Fighter/WarriorYou know. "I like swords!" That guy. Your typical knight type. Decent attack, decent defense, not much on magic. ThiefIronically, in FF1 they don't have a "steal" command. But they have high Speed and Luck, which means they usually hit first, hit often, and can almost keep up with Fighters in damage. Not alot of HP though. Black Belt/MonkWhen you wanna hurt things without swords. They don't need weapons or armor which can save you money, and at high levels they do more damage than Fighters. But their physical and magical defenses are lacking. Red MageThe jack of all trades. Uses white and black magic, except for the highest level stuff, and uses just about any weapon you want, but is outclassed in every category by another character. White MageThe healer. Duh. Makes sure all the other chumps don't die. That's pretty much all they need to do. That's also pretty much all they can do, unless you're a zombie. Their few offensive spells only affect undead. Black MageWhen you wanna hurt things without swords or fists. Against the right foe they can dish out more damage than a Fighter or Monk, but they are physically the weakest character, including attack, defense, and hit points. My party requires four characters, and yes you can have more than one of each character. I could go into battle with four Black Mages (which I would rather not do, don't do that to me) or two Fighters and two White Mages. Ideally, I want a balanced team, but I'm trusting you guys on this. So if you want me to double up, triple up, or go all in with four of the same character, vote for that option then tell me which characters I should use in the thread below. Otherwise, pick your four best options in the poll, and I'll make my final decision on Monday, when we start playing Final Fantasy together. Thanks for your opinion, and I'll see you on Monday!
