Direct links are always like that.
Ah, I have been wondering. Maybe this game indirectly provides legality for Power Battle 2, because they say here robots have expiration dates and Proto Man has a system malfunction, and if Dr Light doesn't repair him, he may go bust.
What do you think? Quite a coincidence.

Also the fact that Duo states there is more evil energy he must get rid of. The evil energy I'm thinking must be the maverick virus that Zero is carrying and when he tries to destory Zero, Zero destroys Duo. Maybe its a bit of a stretch to say that the evil energy is the maverick virus but it could be. And I also think Protoman is going to go bust from his system problems. I'm thinking this game is going to come largely influenced from the Power Battles.
The plot by the way is that there ar 8 new robot masters but people think Light made them and now Mega has to go clear Light's name.

The evil energy has nothing to do with the origin of the Virus. And the three remaining Guardians died in the Omega death explosion.

What do the guardians have to do with MM9?
And unless it says explicitly that the maverick virus has nothing at all to do with the evil energy its a possibility.

Nope, the Guardians have nothing to do with MM9. Just stating that extra to raise the legitimacy of RMZ Complete Works.
It's already explicitly stated that the Virus was created from circuit and behaviour malfunctions, not from the evil energy. That's my point.

It wasn't a circuit malfunction... whether the virus has anything to do with the energy or not, Wily created the virus.

True, we can all agree on Wily's contribution ... one way or another. This part of the discussion ends here.
UPDATE
It has been confirmed that there will be no charged shots and sliding features.
Additionally, RPM puts that Capcom is re-releasing Rockman and Rockman 2 on the WiiWare as well before MM9 comes out. The three are released on a monthly basis, Rockman this month of July, Rockman 2 in August and most possibly MM9 in August.

Footage, with thanks to Ace SparkIt has been confirmed that there will be no charged shots and sliding features. Not exactly set in stone just yet. It's said that there will be a shop feature, so it's highly possible that they're among the possible upgrades. And that is an awesome video montage.
While the Japanese release date is for September (NOTE ABOVE EARLIER TYPO), it is reminded that the reelases for the US and Europe have not been determined yet.
In a plot-related tip, Dr Wily is adamant on blaming Dr Light for the rampage of the newest Robot Masters, and as it is custom for Wily's W logo to appear just before you enter the Robot Master's chamber, the logo is instead placed with Dr Light's own.

blue-bomber.jvmwriter.org/index.php?title=Main_PageAccording to MMNT's newest articles, there's sprites for Plug Man, Magma Man, Concrete Man and the video of Splash Woman - plus confirmation that Proto Man and Bass will be in MM9 - plus the game's introduction and such. Enjoy the provided tidbits.

.. Yes, it does. That was rather unexpected ... and obvious at the same time.
I just can't wait to play it, provided I have a Wii.
