Hello everyone!! Haven't posted in this forum for a while. So I started drawing. I started this summer, so my drawings aren't good. I thought I'd show some of my drawing. If I'd show all of them, then it would take too long and some are too crappy to show. So here are some of my drawings. The first one is my personal favorite. It isn't anything special, just I really like it a lot. Sorry that this picture didn't come out the way I wanted. Seems like the lines weren't strong enough. Thank you for looking at these drawings. Any comment and helpful criticism is very much appreciated. Rhonoc

Other than some proportional issues, not bad considering you haven't been drawing very long.
Work on proportions, and keep practicing!

Yeah, the proportioning is off, work on that and you'll be in the clear.
It's still some nice work though, keep it up.

Hmm, some very nice artwork you have here, but I kind of have one thing bout you're last drawing. Is she waering high heels. if so the foot isnt triangilar, plus also the perspective as you have kinda grapsed but it looks like her feet are staitly diagonal when usually her foot is more like partly diagonal from the heel is strait, the instep is diagonal, and the ball of your foot is strait, eventhough she is wearing trousers if you draw a female character who wars shorts or 3/4 lenths makes her legs look longer.
I know you haven't been drawing for long, and feet (as well as hands) are definatly hard to draw, trust me I had the same problem for AGES, but I was told by one of my friends how the foor is postitioned in certain types of poses.
Nethertheless I love you're characters concepts. Keep it up and I hope what I told you helps.

Omega-D : yea, the hands and feet, especially high-heels are hard to draw. And what you said actually helped me a little. So I'll try it out if I can. Thanks. @hz and Ruinaru : On proportioning thing you mean the height of the character? Like it should be around 6 and a half head length? If so, then I'll try to draw that way.

Not neccesarily the height, but the size of the different part of the body in relation to the others.
For instance, the arms should come down to about the middle of the thighs when relaxed, and the length is the same from shoulder to elbow and elbow to shoulder.
Likewise, the length from hip to knee is the same as knee to ankle, and the legs and feet should make make up around half of the total height on a realistically proportioned character.
When you start developing your style you can mess around with different proportions, figure out an original way to make your characters look unique. But when you're starting off you should try and stick with accurate proportioning.
And it's not just length and height and stuff, but the width of the abdomen, torso, shoulders, hips, size of the hands and feet, etc. And faces have their own system of proporotion, too.

Only thing I'd change honestly as far as proportions go, is shorten the arm length, and increase the leg length. But that's just me.
Your stuff looks good. Can't wait to see more. =O

If you've just started drawing in the summer, you've already gotten pretty far. Back when I started drawing more, it took me a long time to get to this level, so you're already advancing fast.
Your proportions aren't bad, and I can see the beginnings of perspective in your art a little with that back view of the foot. And I like the last picture, because it's very hard to draw arms lifted over a head, and you already have it pretty well.
Just practice! c: Try looking at human references to get a feel for anatomy and body/limb proportions.
Try some plain white paper too! <3

Finally I have a update. I can't update that often, because I don't have a scanner, but my brother has and I don't visit him very often. So the updates usually will take a while. Anyway, to the drawings. aritheo - sorry that I haven't drawn on white paper. It's because I start them at school and finish them at home, so I usually use my notebook for it. This is Reily Luna, my female character, who is waking up. Still bad experience with hands, so don't know how to draw them well yet. This is Dante Frost. My Main Character. This is also Dante, but close up. So sadly, I don't have any more updated anymore, but when I have something and I can scan them, then I'll post them right away.

Your first four arts are well done and proportionately nice. Similarly goes for art number 6, I have no comment though on art 7 since it's a new angle to me (never drew something like that before) though art number 5 ... her top body is kinda too long.

If I didn't know better, you're close to getting them right. Except the right hand, the way you draw the curves and bents made it look strange.

Hmm, maybe not so much fireworks as I thought it should, but what the heck.
Happy New Year.
