I feel like I told you to stop getting so good a long time ago. We need to do a dragon collab some time.

That's Amaterasu, Ed... not Shiranui. Either way... very nice, Silver.

@above i will some time when i'm bored. :P something a little different. he is a mixed media plushie "sculpture that is the most complicated and insane thing i've began working on to date. the goal is to make a creepily realistic creature. his head is a plastic skull i ordered off of etsy. its held on with tape for now (easier to work with it not attatched), and it will be jointed. his body is made in a terribly annoying but effective manner; it's made of high gauge high posability wire. it's different than the wire i normally use; it's powerful, but holds poses very well. the white stuff is cotton. i'm sculpting his body out of cotton and thread; i put the cotton on, then wrap it in place with thread and also shape it this way. this method makes for CRAZY posability with no reduction of range of motion in the wire due to the cotton being packed on to the wire rather than being shoved loosely around it. it also lets me shape his body exactly how i want it, and it gonna make cutting fabric really easy. its very tedious though, and takes a really long time...but so far it's worth it. his finger is a WIP; i wanted to see how hard it'd be to make an exact shape. the tape is a place holder for his real claws, which will be made of sculpey. i dont know when he will be done. he may take me several more months due to his high complexity level and my lack of time. ill post WIP pics if anyone is interested. this is one of the only plushies i've been even a little bit proud of. here's his concept art: the goal is to get as close to it as i can manage. we will see what happens. so far, i love him already. oh, and he's about 4 and a half feet long, and a little over 2 feet tall with his neck allll the way up. he's not very large; just veryyyyy long. anyways, hope you like him! please help me out on body shape accuracy. be as harsh as you want. he's still majorly WIP (as you can see). no part of his body i would consider "done" except maybe his chest. maybe. and yes, he will be fluffy >:)
