They're not different modes, different styles. Trickster favors acrobatics, where Gunslinger favors your firearms, Swordmaster gives you extra sword attacks, it all depends on your style of play. You just pick which style you like best at the beginning of a mission, and your actions favor that style, that's all.

i know bring you Arne's creatures of vana diel <Arne> greatings zero virus goers, to day i will be tell you about the attack patterns of the tonberry nasty little things aren't they. no unlike the tonberries from other final fantasy games, the ones from vana diel dont kill you in one hit, but that doesn't mean they can't be a pain. the two attack you want to avoid from them are "Everyone's Grudge" and "Throat Stab". the damage cuased by "Everyone's Grudge" will vary from adventure, depending on how many tonberries they have killed. no "Throat Stab" will reduce you HP down to 2%, have a monk use shoulder tackle or some thing when that shows up. well thats about it for me, i have to try and find some one thats giveing away free whitefish stew. *runs off* what? can't i be educational?

Actually, I found it very educational. I thought all tonberries lived only to instantly kill people.

Tonberries are slow, though. xD
I mean, like, you don't need to run. Just turn away and walk...
