I mean no disrespct guys but... you really need to clean up these forums... I've seen threads that had the last reply over a year ago! seriously.. is it that hard to move a few threads into the graveyard?
also If you guys have a set time for doing such things I apologise but still... mathematically yo missed such time... remember it's just a suggestion so don't chew me out or anything please lol I'm just tryin to help I mean I was tempted to revive some but I knew I would get in touble so I didn't but the temptation may... be.... too... strong lol but anyway that's my suggestion

We do sweep the forum for cleanups every couple years or so, but they're kind of difficult to do since it's a big job and need most of the staff preasent and to have good judgement to check everything and decide what is and is not still a valid topic.
We generally just assume people aren't going to go replying in the threads at the bottom of the list that are several years old, though. >.>;
Noted though. We might to another cleanup after the Carnival. >__>;

I disagreee, we're far cleaner than many other forums I've seen. And so what if there are loads of threads that are years old, they're part of our history and something to look back on. So long as no one is reviving those threads I see no reason that they'd have to be chucked in the graveyard.

I agree with Swim. It's part of ZV's long history - in fact, it's proof of ZV's long ongoing presence on the Net. Decadent it might be, but you can call it national treasures.
And if the threads where no one replieds after months or years are cleaned up, we might say that nearly the entire site will end up in the Graveyard. That's my observation.

National treasure... Heh, one day maybe future civilizations could look back on all this and have a good old laugh at these words dislayed on their futuristic screens or whatnot. (And I don't mean like in a thousand years, it could be 30-50 or so years... Just some time later.) Or maybe not, who knows.
Anyway, I say leave the topics where they be. Massive clean up should only take place to get rid of the topics where rules have been violated, and even then they should be locked in some sort of evidence locker back in the staff area for future reference in case a particular trouble maker starts up again.

Hey, at least we HAVE a graveyard board. Most places don't. We're not all that cluttered, anyway; I can easily find my way through, and know not to post in year-old threads. Honestly.

If I had a vote on this, I'd vote for No - don't clean up the forums. Let's say it's a huge bunch of historical proof and it should not go to the graveyard.

But then the Graveyard could be turned into a museum as an excuse to put the historical stuff in it.

The thing is, who would want to visit a museum on a normal occasion of a ZV visit?
So ... I still say No. Leave it as it is now.

We more than likely will clean up the threads. That's not necessarily an issue to debate. >.>;

I like having the old treads around simply on the basis of that it'd be possible to remind Nightmare here of how n00bish he was a few years ago.

... That doesn't sound nice.
But I agree with the part of leaving it just as it is.

Yeah, no point in debating about this. In fact, there's even no need to talk about it <_<
Just leave it as it is. The only problem cleaning is necessary is because:
One, flooding, which is not a problem right now. Two, members reviving old threads, which only newbies do so, including a few who just came which did not read the rules carefully. Three, the preferring of seeing new threads instead of old ones, which is just another way of saying "Being annoyed of seeing old threads."
Which either none of the reasons are related, or it's a personal problem.
And that's it. Someone can lock this poll already.

Oh wow, good point. If it is that way, more debates will arise. What thread should be here or there, and plenty of staff meetings over this matter.
You think?
