..Simple, i'm guessing he just made the circle. Glow'd it. Rasterized the layer, then proboly got the smudge tool and smudged upward, giving it the arua-going-up effect.

Well if he smudged it then why isn't the circle thingy smudged and only the glow? you cant smudge a glow unless it's corona.

All I can say is that the handle is a bit short for the blade on the long sword, and the blade is a bit narrow.

Cool, looks good. Something about the shoulder bothers me though, maybe it needs to be tilted slightly to his right, I dunno. But other than that, good job.
