If there are any threads with the same topic as mine, please let me know. Other than that, please do let me know whether I should recreate a new thread or revive an old topic about it.
This is the thread about MMX9 that I made a few years ago. But this time, I feel like creating a new thread about it, more in depth. To me, the old thread looks aimless to the main point of the thread, so I decided to re-create a new thread about it. Since we're now more intellectual and mindful, maybe some of you guys will have a new thought/opinion/perceptive about the game. For the time being, let us assume that there WILL be a MMX9.
From MMX8, what we all know after playing it is: firstly, Sigma is no longer the main antagonist of the entire series anymore. As what Lumine had mentioned in the game, the whole concept of 'Maverick' is no longer appropriate. We do know that Mavericks are termed that way as long as they cause harm and damage to humans. But after the ending at MMX8, the whole theory of how you define Mavericks has been messed up. Other than that, Axl's condition is another point. What will be of him in the next game? Will he get infected by a virus, making him turn evil? Or worse, giving him godlike powers, making him able to turn Maverick at will? What about the new world that they've been talking about? Will humans really get forced to abandon Earth and reach to the moon, leaving the Earth in its destruction?
Well, I just gave some hints and examples to start off this thread. Any theories you guys have, feel free to share with all of us. And yeah, I expect this thread to be a long and hot one... =)
