Morph's Spriting of Ultimate Rookie-ness

ANYWAY, yes. I sprite. Also. But hey! WHO DOESN'T? *cough*

Well, I do mostly 16-bit sprites. I don't like 8-bit so much, and 32-bit can be quite hard, though I have made some.

First off, I'd like to introduce you to CAPTAIN CANADA! Fitting, since yesterday, apparently, was Canada Day. ^^

I've based him off a custom made sprite someone made of Captain America. Can't remember the guy's name, though.

Then, I give you, the yet-unfinished: NAMELESS SPRITE!

Yeah, I know the latter one isn't really all that original, being mainly made with X's armour from his 3rd game, and Sonic's head. I did this as a request for someone at another board, but he left before he had even seen the example. The different 'buster shots' are all different attacks X can get from Mavericks in the first 3 games. The sword is 100% custom. I still need to make some sprites with the sword appearing on his back, though. I don't want him to run around all the time with the thing.

Thanks! Yeah, it probably wasn't the intention of the guy who requested this, but when I was spriting, it just came up. Also, I have now updated that sheet, so it has some more sprites.

The person is good, but Soul Edge could use some work.

Yes, I looked at Nightmare's Soul Edge again, and saw that there was more 'flesh' all over the blade, and not curved. However, when looking at 'Soul Edge (Growth)', I saw that this one looked more like my version of Sould Edge.

Right now I am finishing Nightmare sprites doing one sword slash (with Zero sprites of course). Anyway, thanks for the C+C!

This is a small sheet I am currently working on. (The project mentioned in last post.)
I have already got several poses for the first two (Fighter and Black Mage-classed), and one normal pose for the others.



In order: Fighter, Black Mage, Red Mage, Thief, Black Belt, White Mage, Summoner (without horn), Blue Mage, Ninja, Archer, Time Mage, Samurai, Berserker and Dragon Knight.

Been a month, but I'm sure I'm still allowed to make a comment.

The last two, Berserker and Dragon Knight, are extremely well made. But they don't match the style of the rest of the sprites, sure it's 8-bit, but.. Yea. If you're going to make some with X instead of Mega, make the Samurai on the same base as those two. That way the three melee class can be distinct, and it shows off that those three classes are of the best.

That's just my opinion of course. >.>

Anyway, I did not use X as a base. I used Bass. Of course his poses are a little like X, but it's Bass.
