This story takes place in another dimension, in the future. Loestar is the main character (see that RP guy sprite.) Dr. Balkovich is the essential technie scientist dude with nothing better to do.
*Ahem, here we go.*
*Glossary* (Will be updated as story progresses)
Enforcement Station - Much like a Military Base, only is more law enforcement based. Like a police station, but on a higher scale.
Enforcement Station #26A - Low-Level ES. Handles minor villains. Destroyed in alien attack.
Helifighter - A cross between an aircraft and Helicopter. Not quite like a harrier, but there's similarities between the two.
CCS - Central Computer System - A replacement for the generic people who speak for 'central' in police forces. This one is computer driven, so voice recognition is key.
CA Office - Central Agency Officals - Another term for "white house" for the age. This is the place most government takes place. Official Jeffries is the Commander-in-Chief at the present time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In another world, at another time, in a world much similar to the future we imagine, there was a man, who went by the name of Loestar. See, Loestar wasn't just an ordinary man, he was below that. Due to his profile, everything was blamed upon him, simply because he prefered an ages old style of dress. It was his 21st birthday, and since nobody respected him, he took it upon himself to go in on his birthday at Enforcement Station #26A, guarding. The station was bustling with activity, many people talking about the odd thing that happened last night.
"Did you hear? Did you hear?" A local scientist, Dr. Balkovich said to a fellow scientist, "hear about what?" said the scientist, "did you hear those odd sirens last night?" Loestar then looked towards them, "I rushed here, thinking a large-scale breakout was in progress. There wasn't anything going on, all the inmates were asleep, the doors were locked, security systems still functioning, but what was odd was the coffee machine. That's nothing new, though." the two scientists chuckled, even though the coffee machine was a running gag.
Balkovich then walked to a computer station, putting a floppy disk into a slot, and began viewing the data. As usual for him, it was intergalactic star charts, however, this star chart had something odd: there was a strange looking formation near Pluto. "Hey, Doc, what's that?" Loestar asked, "I don't have a clue, but it looks like a formation of some sort," Balkovich then pointed his finger at the triangle that represented the formation, zooming in.
Loestar looked closely at the formation. "Looks like a group of ships," he stated, "and they're on an attack course, aren't they?" he then said with a gruff tone. "I'm afraid they are. We don't know who they are or what they want with us, but our relay base on Pluto, last we heard, was taking heavy fire. And that's just from the visual."
Loestar then looked up out of the sunroof, "If they're heading here..." he started, before being interrupted "No, Loe, don't try to. You're not a high-class soldier, you're just a rent-a-cop." Loestar sighed after a moment, knowhing Balkovich was right. This wasn't his duty. Several minutes later, the alert siren went off again, teams of soldiers scrambling to take up defensive positions, armed to the bone with lethal weapons as asking questions later was not their style. Loestar rushed to a safe spot, calling Balkovich over.
They listened to sounds of an firefight, before an explosion and hundreds of soldiers crying out in pain, obviously those that weren't killed. "They're here ALREADY!?" Balkovich explained, "We need to get out of here! And now!" Loestar jumped up, grabbing Balkovich's sleeve and dragging him along. They dashed right into the Helifighter, Loestar rushing to start up the machine as more explosions, louder, and closer, erupted.
They were under attack and fighting a losing battle. Loestar finally got the Helifighter's controls online, then speedily flew out of the area, looking back, watching as Enforcement Station #26A crumbled to the ground. "I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing," Loestar stated, "but this definitely means war, doesn't it?" he looked back to Balkovich, who nodded, although in shock. They had escaped death.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Told ya I was gonna do it some day. How was my first shot? Hint: If you've got a good imagination, you can get every single thing in this story.
EDIT: Added spacing between paragraphs.

Well, I'd recommend splitting the story into paragraphs instead of one large chucnk of wordage. It'll make it easier to read.
Other than that, very interesting start. Can't wait to read more.

Heh. Updated the first chapter so the paragraphs are spaced. Dr. Balkovich sprite on the way. Updated Glossary.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Loestar turned his attention back to the direction he was flying, it had been a hasty escape. "What do we do now?" asked Loestar, which warranted a look from Balkovich, "We take this to the government. They're the only ones who can help us!" Balkovich said, "Ever heard of the CA Office?" then Loestar looked to Balkovich, looking back to his flight path. "The CA Office stands for Central Alliance Officiale, or a fancy way to say 'The White House.'" Balkovich stated, which got him another glance from Loestar, who then replied "so, the head honchos reside there, huh? Where is this 'Office'? Any exact coordinates?"
Balkovich pointed to the on-screen map, and after touching a few panels, he pointed directly at where the CA Office was at. "There," he said, "that's the CA Office. Official Jeffries will be able to help us!" Balkovich said with a smile, then Loestar replied with a rather grim tone "-help us straight to jail. Do you know how many people have asked for his aid, only to land on the bad side of an ES?" Balkovich tried to reply, but didn't come up with anything on a whim. Just then, several lasers came shooting by, the same kinds of lasers that took out the soldiers back at ES 26A.
"Uh, Loe, I think they know we're here!" Balkovich said with a bit of fear in his voice, "what made you think they didn't know!?" Loestar said with a but of gruff, adjusting the Helifighter's speed, now having to dodge lasers as well. "They could have easily seen us racing out there just to get to this one vehicle." Loestar said, as a strange, scorpion-like fighter flew in front. Loestar armed weapons, Balkovich screaming "No! Don't do that! That could incite war!" Loestar replied with a even rougher tone "You think they haven't done that already!?" he said as the missile locked on target.
"This one is for 26A!" Loestar said under his breath, before firing the missile, which tracked the strange, scorpion-like fighter, and hit it dead on, the fighter exploding to pieces with green fluid flying everywhere, some of it hitting the Helifighter. "Ugh, alien guts." Loestar said, "wait... That thing bleeds!?" Balkovich said with a surprised tone, "this could be a scientific revolution!" "This is no time for a revolution, Doc! We're under attack, and all you can care about is technology!?" Loestar replied angrily as they approached another enforcement station. Loestar picked up a corded radio transmitter, "Station 35B, Station 35B, this is H-26A, our base was attacked and we're under heavy attack from unknown forces! Requesting immediate support!" from which was replied "Roger H-26A, Helifighters 35A, 35B, and 35C deploying now."
As those words were said, three other Helifighters scrambled out of the launch pad, and began taking on the scorpion-like fighters. By the end of the battle, 26A had to take out the remaining scout fighters, because the other 3 helifighters had returned to the hangar. Loestar then picked up the comm again, "hey, thanks Station 35B. We owe you one." which was replied with a generous reply from ES 35B's CCS. Loestar passed up landing and refueling for the itch of curiousity as he saw a mountain that had an eerie purple aura. "Loe... Why are you heading that way?" Balkovich asked, "because there's got to be a reason for that smog. Especially if it's purple smog." Loestar said, his eyes fixated. There's something strange... What kind of machine produces purple smog? Loestar thought, keeping his course straight for the mountain. They had evaded death yet again, but this time an ES was not lost in the process.

Here we go: Chapter 3! The action never takes a break! POOL PARTY!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What's with that smog?" asked Dr. Balkovich, "I don't know, it doesn't look natural. Shouldn't it be spreading if it was real smoke?" Loestar said, as he slowed the Helifighter down, approaching the edge of the eerie purple mist. Loestar then lowered the power of the rotors slowly, to lower altitude. "You gonna land this thing correctly this time?" Balkovich joked, just as a resounding 'thud' sounded as Loestar landed. "I guess that answers my question." Balkovich stated.
Loestar unbuckled his seat, pushing on the top of the glass guy thingypit to open it up with a hiss, and then a just of wind. The first thing Loestar could hear from outside was the sound of what was the cloud of purple mist. "Sounds like a mix of fire and thunder." Loestar then jumped out, "stay here, Doc. You're the only other person who knows how to fly the thing." Loestar then started walking towards the cloud of energy. After a few minutes, he arrived at the edge of the cloud, he put his hand into the cloud, and pulled it out, looking at it. Nothing had happened to his arm, and he proceded into the cloud. A few moments after he walked in, a gust of swirling wind picked up, and began to make Loestar feel as if something was eating away at his skin. "Agh... Damn..." Loestar exclaimed, forcing his way blindly into a cave, where the winds died down...
"Where am I?" Loestar asked, without reply. The stinging winds had ceased when he had entered the cave. He ventured deep into the cave, before he heard high-pitched squeal-like voices, to which he gave a light 'huh?' before taking a hidden position, slowly creeping towards the sound. Soon after, he peered around a corner in the cave and saw 3 aliens, they were very much humanoid, but they also looked like scorpions at the same time. Upon his sight of them, the 3 aliens noticed Loestar, and then proceeded to pursue. Instead of running, Loestar fought back with fierce attacks, although effective, Loestar still lost, and was then taken away.
The cloud outside the mountain began to be 'sucked in' to the caves, "he did it!" Balkovich exclaimed, with a fist clinched in victory to his belief. Meanwhile, the three aliens had dragged the unconscious Loestar into the cave, and were commanding the 'purple mist' to enter Loestar's body. While unconscious, Loestar could feel the pain of energies of unknown source entering his body, travelling through every vein, every crevice, every muscle. Slowly, he was being corrupted by energies he did not know about...
Loestar's eyes then shot open, his face now having purple markings. He broke free from the bindings quickly, then proceeded to one of the aliens, and grabbed it's head, tearing it off fiercely, his eyes glowing purple. He then beat the corpse up mercilessly, then jumped around, and dashed at the second alien, tearing through it's body, then vaporizing it with a punch into the ground that consisted of a energy 'skull' appearing over Loestar. He then turned to the last alien, who started to run away. Loestar caught the alien, grinned... And then proceeded to snap his neck, take the body, and smash it to a literal pulp. Afterwards, Loestar's eyes returned to normal, the purple markings remaining, and fell to his knees, breathing heavily. "What did they do to me!?" Loestar yelled under his breath, falling to a sit, catching his breath... "Damn... My body hurts all over..." He said with a bit of a whisper, staying kneeled, trying to wait for the pain to go away... A dark energy has infested Loestar's body... Can he control it? Or will it control him?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ooh, dramatic action.
Yeah, I'll take a break from writing this stuff so I can plot more details. Oh, Dark Loestar is a murderer, isn't he?

I didn't want to get gory, here's an example of what would the fight scene would have looked like if I had used gore:
"Loestar then grabbed an alien's head, and pulled it straight off the neck, spine and all. The alien then fell, bleeding from the neck, to the ground, Loestar then looked at the head we was holding, and then crushed it in his grip."

Okay, here I am. Probably for another 3 chapters this week.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Loestar was on one knee, still in the cave, shivering as lightning, purple with a black core, streamed up and down his body. It hurt like hell, almost every vein in his body still pulsing with pain. "Damn... This hurts..." Loestar said, not willing to get up until the pain ended. Back at the helifighter, Balkovich began to wonder, 'wait, where's Loestar? He should've been back by now. A man of his class can't die easily. he worried with a thought. He sighed, "calm down, Balkovich, Mother Russia didn't raise you to be a whiner!" then raising a hammer and sickle as he said those words, forming a symbol of a government centuries old. Back at the cave, Loestar worked himself up to kneel, still shivering in pain... "Ugh, at least it's not as w-worse now." He said with a slightly quivering tone, he then tried to stand up, failing once more.
After 20 minutes, Loestar was finally able to get on his feet, although walking was still a chore. He walked out of the cave shakily and tiredly. Balkovich, upon sight, raced out to help Loestar back to the Helifighter, "You alright?" Balkovich asked, "Yeah... Just had a bad run-in with a bunch of those aliens what attacked 26A." Loestar then stated...
"What did they do to you?" "Nothing... Nothing important." "Did they give you one of those anal probes? Like in the movies?" "No, they didn't, thankfully. They did something much worse." "Tried to gouge your eyes out?" "Worse." "Infused you with something?" "Bingo."
It was at this time Balkovich began guessing what Loestar was infused with...
"What were you infused with?" "I'll let you guess, 'cause I'm too tired to tell." "Wrong type of blood?" "No." "Acid?" "No." "Carbophetamyne?" "That's a drug. I doubt aliens would take me just so we could go inject us one." "Energy?" "You really are a freakin' genious. Yeah, they infused me with some kind of energy. Hurts like hell."
Loestar limped somewhat back to the Helifighter, taking the passenger's seat, while Balkovich took the pilot's seat. "You want me to drop you off at your home? I can confront the CA Office myself." Balkovich asked, "no. I'll come with you. They need some kind of supporting statement before they'll listen to anyone. That's how politics work." And no matter how much Balkovich wanted to deny it, Loestar was right.
Meanwhile, in a dark room, deep below the surface, a council meeting is held. "Has 26A been exterminated as planned?" One figure asks, "Yes. The attack even came early." Another stated. "No survivors? We want this to be a surprise." the first figure asked again. "And of the dark mountain?" "Sir, we lost energy readings from that long ago." "Good, good." "Good, sir? That energy could kill us all." "Not if you know someone who is daring enough to venture into a hellstorm." "Know, sir?" A set of documents were then passed to another person. "Sir... Since 26A was attacked we know this guy is a dead man. Along with that scientist. He couldn't have survived that energy infusion if it really was him." Then the lights dimmed, signifying the end of the meeting... "Who turned off the lights?" one of them asked, "you moron, the lights always do that. Meeting's over." the group then stood up out of their chairs, pushing them under the table in an almost synchronous matter.
"How do you think the CA Office is gonna take this?" Loestar asked, "I don't know, but since our station was attacked they will take it seriously. Since we're the only survivors, it will be easy. We'll have to avoid the media, though." "Why is that?" "We don't want to sit around and let the military handle this. I've seen many a cartoon where heroes like us have done the exact same thing, only for the military to fall." "...You know your cartoons, I guess. I just hope they don't take it the wrong way and say that 26A was bombed by two terrorists, a scientist and a soldier. That's not the kind of image we need." Loestar stated, as they reached the half-way mark of their journey.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
What were those... Those freaks? Loestar thought to himself, and why did they try to tear me apart? he continued on his train of thought, getting more nervous and ever so slightly more scared as the thought of the painful process repeated within his mind. Loestar grew a little scared for his safety after a few repeats. "Something wrong?" Balkovich asked, "No... It's nothing." Loestar said, after which Balkovich, instead of questioning further, chose to let Loestar be.
Soon after, they flew over the CA Office. "Here's the main CA Office. I'll try and get landing clearance." Balkovich then picked up the radio, setting the frequency to match the nearby control tower's. "This is HF-26A-001 requesting landing clearance. Personnel statement SCI-BAL-245365. This is Eric Von Balkovich speaking. Repeat, requesting landing clearance." Moments later, a computer-generated voice began to speak, "H. F. 26. A. Zero. Zero. One. Request for landing has been. Granted. You are clear. To land." Balkovich replied "Acknowledged. Landing now." and then lined up the Helifighter over a landing pad, and slowly began to descent.
A few "suits" walked out of the nearby terminal as Balkovich landed the Helifighter. They stopped at the edge of the stepset leading up to the landing pad. Balkovich turned off the Helifighter, the machine's blades gliding to a stop slowly. Balkovich exited the Helifighter first, followed by Loestar. The two walked down the steps to meet up with the "suits." "Jeffries welcomes your visit, Doctor. We're glad to see at least two people from 26A survived that dreadful attack." The head "suit", Jeffries, said. "Since then there's been a reign of chaos over our land, people have been fighting amongst each other for defensive weaponry, attacks have been executed all over the state, chaos is reigning, and we are on the verge of a political meltdown the way things are going." Jeffries said, "sounds like nothing new to me." Loestar said. "After almost being shot down by those attackers, I could care less about a debriefing." Loestar then looked past the suits, at the exit they took. "Doctor Balkovich, we'd like to examine this Helifighter's black box to hopefully get a better understanding of the situation. If we don't do anything about it there's going to be a lot of political backlash."
...Is something amiss here? Or am I just paranoid? Loestar thought, then again, these guys are suits. They're not the type that run at you with open arms, looking to hug a friend they haven't seen for years. "Excuse me, sir, but I think we should head in, analyze the black box now, and send the message to the other Officials. This may result in war, but it will be worth it." Loestar then walked past the others, they soon followed. They came to a office-type building, computers were everywhere, not a single one without a user. The group headed for a conference room. After walking in, Jeffries took the head of the table, Loestar and Jeffries taking the spots nearby. The rest took their spots accordingly. The meeting was about to begin.

Wahoo! New chapter! At last :>
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"...Alright then, meeting is adjourned. We will throughly investigate potential causes of the attack, and put whoever is to blame to justice. Meeting Adjourned." As Jeffries said this, he banged the gavel on the table. Afterwards, every person in the room began to stand up and leave, Loestar utterly disgusted with how the meeting went, but Balkovich the opposite. I don't like where they are going with this... Brute force doesn't solve mysteries. Loestar thought. "Hey, Loe! You gonna stay here for the night or what?" Balkovich asked amongst the crowds walking out. "I think I'll stay here. Too much trouble falling asleep in the Helifighter." Loestar replied, as they walked upstairs to the guest rooms.
Loestar, as soon as he reached his room, took off his metallic blue vest, jumped on the bed, buried his head in the pillow, and fell to sleep. A good night's rest at last... he thought, I'll sleep happy and wake up well in the morning. Ain't nothing stopping me from a bright-eyed bushy-tailed morning! Loestar thought once more, before closing his eyes. Time seemed to move slowly as he fell asleep...
Moments later, his eyes opened, a mass of colors around him, swirling in rapid patterns. Where the hell am I!? he thought, what's with that 4-legged swan, and why does the Helifighter look like a truck!? then something dark loomed in this messed up place, a pitch blade glow, with purple eyes... "You... I want you... I'll get you... I'll keep you..." a strange voice asked, then the mysterious shroud's "mouth" opened and swallowed the entire area whole, Loestar being tossed into a multitude of bad situations. It was as if he were running through reality. Loestar ran in straight through fires, dark storms, spears, cannon fire, the Helifighter's blades, and then he closed his eyes. Opening them when he felt he stopped.
He was in a dungeon, physically different... He resembled who attacked him. Where... Who... He saw a skeleton, whose body looked familiar. "Wait, that can't-wha?" Loestar tried to speak, realizing that his voice was somewhat his own, yet not. It had a dark tone to it... "What am I? What did they do to me!? NO!" Loestar exclaimed, seeing a mirror. "No... I... I'm one of them! Damn it! What did I do!?" Loestar yelled, and at that moment, he gasped and shot up in his bed, wide awake now. "...No... I'm not letting that be my future... However it happens..." he then sighs, "A nightmare..." he then lay flat on the bed, wide awake for the rest of the night.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enjoy!
