No ... Duo was classified as some strange intergalactic cop robot, which is a totally different origin than that of Rockman World 5. It's just different.
Having said that, I highly doubt any Stardroids will come back, since they first debuted in an alternate series.

Alternate series? what alternate series is there with them (aside form BN, which I don't even think had them)
There was also no indication that RW5 had all the Stardroids, all we know was that they were made by an alien race, so there is a chance that they're could be more. Plus there's so much unexplained alien robots out there it is possible for them to come back, Ra Thor is an example. They may not be stardroids but it is an idea and a general term that most people can understand.

Rockman World 1 to 5 is more or less an alternate series, since the bosses and stageplay are quite separate from the original Classic.
In any case, look at the available bosses in MM10. They are not Stardroids. Even if there is some other boss who is responsible, instead of Wily, the high likelihood is that he's not a Stardroid. Look at King from MM and Bass (which has been considered part of the Classic timeline), he's like a final boss, but he's not a Stardroid.
So ... no. Stardroids highly unlikely to appear.

I wasn't meaning that the main 8 were stardroids but that we might see some later on in the "tower" stages. It is possible.
As for your King argument, that made no sense to counter what I said. Just because King was like a final boss that means I thougth he was a Stardroid despite that he directly said that he was build by Wily? ya I don't recall calling King any such thing, or even bringing King into this convo.
Lastly all megaman games do fall into the timeline. Remakes like Wily Wars even do, and other titles like "Rock Board" and "Rockman Soccer" There are not dates in the game to give exact times but all state "a few mouths after..." If I had some of my manuals with me I would get more in depth with this.

Huh. I just hope them Stardroids are not coming out. I'm betting with a good certain possibility, if I step into the producers' shoes. EDIT Those other games than from MM1 up to MM9, including MM and Bass, are canon, in all honesty. Sensibly thinking. Well, according to the video for the intro of MM10, they only listed those games which seem to really matter to the series. I'm not going to deny that MM and Bass is not listed there, but since the ending of MM9 did show a scene of Wily's apology from that game, I'll say that game is important too. wii.ign.com/dor/objects/54796/mega-man-10/videos/megaman10_gmp_the_intro_21810.htmlHaving said that ... well, all the other games might happen and I retract my statement saying they're of an alternate series, but I'm going to say here that all those games, which the exception of the listed above, don't really matter so much. In that sense, there's a high probability that the Stardroids don't really matter that much in this game as well.

they might not matter much to some but I still would like to see something with more of them, or more bots from Duo's alliance, perhaps some more evil energy ect.
As for that video, Im sure capcom didn't want to list 20 rockman games in the opening, especially sense not all are numbered.
We know for a fact that Wily Wars takes place after megaman 3 where Wily goes back in time to stop Rock. That is the games story.
Other games are as fallows
The only classic game to not fall into the timeline of rockman is the Anniversary collection for obvious reasons. If you still think that those games are cannon look up scans of the game manuals/booklet. Alot of information is stored in those.

Still doesn't really convince me. Other games than MM1 to MM10 and MM and Bass be unimportant plot-wise. A lot of them are irrelevant. Rockman and Forte: Challenger from the future is quite plot inportant. It shows us that Wily will eventually turn entirely good, and that Rockman will become Rock once more. As for the new MM10 stuff, meh Im not that into it. It shows us the enemies from the game but that kinda tasteless if Im not in there shooting them

Looked it up; it's not important too. Most of these games were just meant to be blunt spin-offs and side-stories for additional enjoyment. They don't have that 'advancing plot atmosphere'. It's just no fair to simply say all of them are of the Classic series.
That geeky analysis is just to give people a rough look into what bots we'll be up against, that's all.

Each one states where it takes place in the timeline to a decent degree, there's no dates but we can figure it out. I do agree that they were made intently for extra cash in capcom's wallet but they did make it so that they fell in line with the storyline. They have story, you just have to look for it.

It's still not necessarily as important as to the degree of MM1, MM2, MM3, MM4, MM5, MM6, MM7, MM8, Megaman and Bass, MM9 and MM10 have had on the Classic series. Blind acceptance is not my thing. But in any case, on a topic-relevant note: E Tanks! To commemorate the soon-to-be-released MM10! www.themmnetwork.com/2010/02/25/e-tank-energy-drink-v2/E tank version 2 is of blueberry flavour. Hahah.
