Wow, everyone seems to be having fun. Looks like it's drawn by Hitoshi Ariga. Couldn't think of anyone else.

so after about 3 hours of playing as Protoman and soly fighting against Wily I gave up on it and started a megaman file, which took me a total of 1:14 and some odd seconds to beat that damn game. Not as bad with Megaman but I still don't care much for it.

That's nice. As long as you've played the game.

Hm ... it seems like Inticreates really made Hard Mode harder than what it sounds like, by the sound of your exaggeration. If I'm not mistaken, they did the same for MM9 too.

I never did get hard mode for 9. Didn't feel like paying for a headache. And no man, its no exaggeration, the game is really hard on hard mode.

Just take it easy. There's no rush to finish Hard Mode.

Not as bad with Megaman but I still don't care much for it. You probably won't believe this, but I beat it with Protoman and Bass before I could pull it off with Megaman. Never knew how much I missed that slide til now. And you're right, Bass does look out of place in that box art. He looks like he'll be the one-hit-wonder of the next Sonic game.

I've beat it with all three now, I just had some issues I guess with protoman. I also believe that the game is three times as easy with Forte and with Rock's new weaponry. Mirror buster all the way 8)

Whoa, Bass looks strange there. Is there any specific ending scenes for Bass and Protoman when you beat the game with either of them?

yep.
BLues just states that its poetic justice for Wily to get sick and says he should leave him there.
In Forte's Wily applogizes... again to him and Forte just says "See you later" indicating that he left Wily there.
Because all three storys are cronological Mega Man takes Wily to earth while BLues and Forte just kinda meh'd it.

Makes you wonder how Wily is able to rebuild the entire scenario in his Castle just for the trio bots to fight them over and over again.

Makes you wonder how Wily is able to rebuild the entire scenario in his Castle just for the trio bots to fight them over and over again. You talking about the RMK's? I do not believe that they are a part of the story, as their stages were just colored versions of the GB versions with a some enemy changes. (due to them saving memory and using their new sprites) If you want to say that their part of the story its like saying that the endless stage is as well. If you think that they are due to being able to use their weapons, there have been several indications that prove Mega Man keeps his weaponry game to game but gameplay doesn't allow you to access them.
