Hey, Zaroark looks awesome. His design gives hope for the 5th Generation, maybe they won't be utter ass! *coughbidoofcough*

Exactly. Who's to say they'll make the same mistake again? I'm just saying. Besides, you know as well as I do that Pokemon isn't going to end any time soon. They'll probably be on the 10th generation before they even think of stopping. XD

I look forward to each new generation of Pokemon, personally. The traditional games are always good. It's all the crappy spinoff stuff that needs to stop.

A couple of the spinoffs were really good though. Pokemon Snap and Ranger 1 for example.

Yeah, Pokemon Snap was fun. And I enjoyed the Pokemon Stadium games to a small extent, but all this Mystery Dungeon and Rumble nonsense is a little bit overkill.

I agree with ya, Ruin. When they stick to their strengths, as in the RPGs, the games are always good. They constantly tweak the battle system to perfection, and there's always a ton of stuff to do. I was incredulous when I first heard there was gonna be a 5th generation, but then I realized that when I play the games, they never let me down. Except for the Mystery Dungeons, those were ass.
Still. The games are the only things that save it for me. 'Cause the tv series/movies/cards are bullsh*t now, they have been since the 4th generation imo.

The TV series started sucking when they got rid of Misty, it just wasn't Pokemon the same anymore... But now that they've even gone and changed the Dub, it's incredibly ass. Also; I actually like the ranger games, the best part of those is that you can get certain pokemon from them in your main games, Like Manaphy, or Darkrai. As for the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, they're not the best games, but their stories are pretty funny, and the fact that all 493 pokemon are in the more recent ones, it's pretty cool.
As for the movies, I still watch them, they have good plots compared to the TV series, plus the animations are amazing.
Last thing; for what its worth, Ranger 2, Shadows of Almia was more fun for me than Ranger 1 was.

I played some of it. The characters were charming and the story was alright, but I'm just not into the whole dungeon exploring thing. It's just one of those SNES dungeon explorers with a new skin slapped on.
