You wouldnt be able to do much with 1 GHz, I would advise staying way above their requirements. THat's what I did, and I love my computer

my Vista experience thus far hasn't been too exciting. I'd have prefered to have XP Pro on this PC instead of it so everything would be working again like it should. This computer's performance is supposed to be much better then my old one's yet I'm not seeing much of an improvement. I think Vista is actually reducing my new computer's effiency

That's why I disagree with Microsoft setting the minimum requirements so low. They could at least recommend what you need for a good experience.
Like Ztrl just said, you only need 1 GHz, but your computer wont work very well with that. You should only get Vista on a newer computer.

Bossman replied! =0 lol as if it's a totally amusement, but it's rare though.
Speaking about Windows Vista, i hate the fake versions of windows. Like XP and Vista, people made copies (FAKE) for money, and till now i still don't have a real version of any Windows.
Sad, right?
