Had to?
I just played along never finding anything, just defeating Robotnik. But since you said so, then I believe you.

*facepalm of epic, grandiose proportions*
My forehead is gonna be bruised for the rest of the year.
Fann, haven't you ever wondered how Sonic goes Super Sonic? You need to collect all the Chaos Emeralds to do so. And in Sonic 3 and Knuckles, you could even get the Super Emeralds and go HyperSonic. And there were good and bad endings. You never knew that??

Have wondered, yeah. Have known, yeah. But never collected any Emerald.
I never made it past the first three zones of each game, S1, S2, S3 and Knuckles. Should have mentioned that.

How come? And why don't you try collecting the emeralds? You can easily get them all by the 3rd level of any of them.

I didn't really bother to jump into them checkpoint portals to the other side. My interest was only for the golden rings.
In S1 couldn't defeat Robotnik at Spring Yard Zone, in S2 couldn't get past Aquatic Zone due to some reason I forgot, in S3 couldn't get past Robotnik in Marble Garden Zone and in Knuckles, couldn't get past that labyrinth in Sandopolis Zone.
It was a long time ago, these experiences, so I haven't visited the games for a long time. And not just sooner too.

Well then go back and try beating them. Haven't you ever felt compelled to try? And that's fine if you're playing Sonic 3 or Sonic and Knuckles, 'cause the big rings are what get you to the emerald stages. Same for Sonic 1. In Sonic 2 you need to jump through the checkpoint portals though.
Sorry for getting off topic, but yeah....

"It was a long time ago, these experiences, so I haven't visited the games for a long time. And not just sooner too." <= Meaning not compelled to try.
But in any case, let's just watch for more news.

Those screens certainly give me that old school feeling. And I'm loving it.
Robotnik is revisiting his own batnik collections ... I doubt he can stop Sonic even after said improvements. But then again, it's just Episode 1, so who knows?

Ahah, the sky's blue. Reminds me back of Emerald Hill Zone and Floating Island Zone.

I quite doubt they can pull those off as fakes. The entire design looks authentically original.

So I gather from Sonic's sig that the game is finally out. Who all has played it? Is it everything we'd hoped for?
