The sword seems to amplify the range and effectivness of his standard attacks, as well as use it as a sword. One could argue that it's still a prop, but I don't think it really matters. Even if it was just a prop, it looks cool, so it's a welcome prop. XD

It's the same song...just without the singing. It's very common for Japs to do that that to US gamers, just look at Karma and ToTA.

All previous Sonic games have retained their theme songs. As I said, just cause it's not in the trailer, doesn't mean it's officially cut. >.>;

I dunno what the sword is for... he still does air dashes to attack. And the idea behind him jumping on enemies is that he's a hedgehog, his spines kill things. Sword seems like a useless prop. They could just use the same controls as Shadow the hedgehog, using the B button to use a weapon X or Y to use homming attack (Im using GC controlls as an Example BTW)
