Oh, sorry, I misread something. You meant that if you grew accustomed to using a powered up character in Sub-Space Emissary it might throw you off when using non powered up characters.
Well, it wouldn't be that bad. When I play Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2, I got a super powered up Itachi with customized specials so that he can and will kill everyone, but I'm not really thrown off when playing as the non customized one, despite all the changes.
Don't be worried about differences in how far you or someone else goes flying, or how much or how little damage you do. One of the strategic measures of SSB is adapting to the situation. If you don't think you can handle it, maybe you should back down. >=D

I never said anything about backing down, not using the stickers will probably give me more of a challange and make me a better player. But I guess when I kick your butt online you can use the stickers throwing you off as an excuse for losing, so maybe you should use them.
Edit: Zelda and Sheik's Light Arrows look pretty cool.

They didn't really explain what'd happen if there were more than one person, just what'd happen in a 1 v 1 fight.

It probably just picks two random people. Or randomly switches everyone.

New stage... Mushroomy Kingdom. And some new music.
Also, I would like to talk about some possible character info that was leaked out in a japanese video found here (NOTE: Images have been removed from the video by Nintendo. Unedit version can still be found on YouTube.). Looking at the following image, you can see four character icons in the lower right. Here is a closes up these icons. Ok, that kinda makes them hard to see. Anyways, you can see that there are four characters that can use the Groudon Sticker Upgrade for the Sub-Space Emissary. On the left we can clearly see Pikachu, next to him would be Pokemon Trainer, and on the right we have what would seem to be Jigglypuff, so we have a returning character. That just leaves the icon between Jigglypuff and Pokemon Trainer. Due to the poor quality, it is hard to see who it is exactly. But based on the basic shape, it seems that the only logical possibility, is Lucario. Quick picture of Lucario so you people can compair them. Other than that, is seems we have another returning character. Once again, look in the lower right. As you can see... a different sticker is selected and this time there are only two icons. Still, low quality, so what I say may or may not be correct. The left icon apears to be Lucas, the character we all believe is replacing Ness. But as you can see by looking at the icon the right, it apears to be a character in a red hat. And seeing that the other icon is Lucas, the only possibility is that the icon is Ness. That's all the info I have so far. If Nintendo slips up again, I'll try and share any reveiled info to you.

Kind of a sucky update, yeah, hopefully this doesn't start another long spell of crap again.. But I've seen what Tony posted elsewhere and it looks like Ness and Jigglypuff might just be back. Hopefully Ness and Lucas don't fight the same way, we don't need more clones. By the way, is Lucario a pokemon? I've never heard of him before. Also, VG Cats made an update recently regarding Brawl characters, its kind of funny but I really am starting to question the Captain's return. I know I shouldn't, especially with Garoh as an Assist Trophy but still. I wanna see his moves.

And trust me Swim, he wants to show you his moves!
And yes, Lucario's a pokemon. He had his own pokemon movie and was pretty dang powerful.
How is it a sucky update? We see some game footage of four people battling, and we know that there most likely won't be any lag on wi-fi.

From LA to Vegas, we have no idea how well it'll work for say, Washington State to Florida. Not to mention overseas, as we have a few European members. They should've picked a larger distance.

It's a statement of it's own. I trust their implementation will result in less laggy matches, though it looks like they send individual player commands instead of reporting player positions.
Also, it's seems I missed a very suspicious statement:
On the Angel Island Zone music update, Sakurai mentions that it is from "Sonic The Hedgehog 3". However, immediately after, he mentions it is the game Knuckles comes from.
This raises the question: Why would Knuckles be worthy of mention in a music update? Could Knuckles be appearing in some form outside of a sticker? Could it be he's the fabled last 3rd party character?

I'm not too sure about that Fusion, but we'll have to wait and see.
And about the online play, I think the game won't suffer much lag, so long as each individual's online connectivity is up to speed, the distance may also play a factor in this, But we'll have to wait and see for that as well. Also, I think that it's pretty badass to watch the game in motion for an entire match.

No one should worry about his return, its just that in the original game, he was the most difficult unlockable character to get. I'm guessing hes going to be back in Brawl, but as an unlockable character again.

Like I said, I shouldn't question it and I'm sure he'll be back, its just this stupid 'what if?' worry.
As for Knuckles, I noticed that when it first came out, but I'm really doubting he'll be the last third party character, if only because he comes from the same place as Sonic. Plus, I like Knuckles and wouldn't mind seeing him in Brawl, but Tails kind of has seniority being Sonic's sidekick for longer, even though Knuckles would be a better fighter I probably. Knuckles will probably get in as an assist trophy. Snake has Grey Fox, they'll put some Sonic guys in to assist as well. But the final third party character can't be Knuckles.
