Poll: Game Tourneys?

Hey everyone! I guess this thread is pretty self-explanatory. We wanna know who's interested in what in terms of Carnival tourneys. We compiled a list of a bunch of likely games, and we wanna see which ones we should make tournaments out of.

Please vote for as many as you'd like, check any that you'd participate in. We need at least 6 votes for the game to make it into the program, but don't vote just because! Only vote if you're very likely to participate.

Agh, I'll have to play the Brawl vote by ear. I dunno if I'll even have access to a Wii at Cedar Point cause I'm sure as hell not bringing mine. Guess it'd just be Battlebob for me.

I would play Soul Caliber 4, haven't got 5. And I suppose I could rent Tatsunoko vs Capcom if that were chosen.

I didn't realize people played Jedi Knight 2 competitively, but I've got that too, I'm down.

I would be up for BlazBlue:CS, Skullgirls, and Soul Caliber 5, as for League of Legends, I don't think it would really be much of a tournament unless there was at least 6 players. But then it would just end up being a 3 vs 3 and would be more of just a match instead of a tournament.

I don't play a whole lot of mutliplayer games. I would suggest a Starforce tournament but if I recall most of you guys hate that series.

That might be fun but it takes time and effort to host a game tourney, and it's not really worth it if people aren't going to participate. XD

So the point of this poll is to find out which ones people would actually be a part of.

Maybe put it in hardcore mode and race to some goal? Like first to craft a set of diamond armor? Or first to reach the Nether? First to amass a certain amount of materials? That could be fun.

Even if we don't do a full tourney with brackets, I'd be game for doing a round robin type competition where everyone plays everyone. That way even if only 3-5 people are interested in a game you can still get a decent amount of matches.

Looks like we're pretty split between the ps3 &360 versions of UMvC3, and I know that lets you make lobbies where people can spectate matches while the winner goes on. Could organize two pools for that game anyway. Jedi Academy has something similar where winner goes on, or we could do battle royale.

Who was the other starcraft? Obviously we're not doing it for the carnival, but PM me, we should play.

What I was actually thinking more of a hunger games thing.

All players scattered around in a huge forest/jungle arena then search and kill other players while surviving the wilderness.
But your ideas are way better than mine xD
