So, I recently had this crazy idea where I would stream me playing Final Fantasy. All the Final Fantasy. Well, at least the main numbered ones in the series. Possibly others should it come to that. But the question was raised as to which versions I would be playing of these games? Should I do the original versions? One of the countless remakes for each version? I've created a simple poll to get opinions, just on the first four games in the series for now. I've listed a few options for each of the first four Final Fantasy games, please pick one for each game. This poll is only focusing on the first four games, I'll make another poll for the subsequent games when the time comes. If you have a suggestion not listed in the poll, or have any questions, feel free to ask them in this thread.
I realize this is a long project I'm proposing, but I'm really looking forward to doing this, and I hope some of you are looking forward to watching it!

So, slight update on the Final Fantasy streaming. I've done extensive testing and work, and unfortunately my computer currently just can't handle running both the PSP emulator and Xsplit, the streaming program I use, at the same time. So streaming PSP games is currently not an option. As such, I will most likely resort to the Gameboy Advance versions of Final Fantasy 1 and 2 for now. While they are graphically inferior, as far as content they are essentially the same as their PSP counterparts. So I hope that will be acceptable, and I apologize for this.
While I still have your attention, I could use a few more opinions. I've been trying to think of a schedule for streaming. Weekends are typically out of the question for me, as I am usually working and my primary audience is already occupied on Fridays and Saturdays with the Zero Virus RP. So obviously I'll be streaming during the week, but I was wondering if anyone out there had a preference for what day or time I should be streaming. My current plan is to stream at least twice a week, usually starting in the evenings EST. If anyone has any opinions, suggestions, or insights into this, please feel free to comment here. And thank you to everyone who voted in the poll and has offered suggestions, I appreciate the support.

Well as far as weekdays go, Wednesday is my busy day and Friday is the RP. So if I had to throw out a random suggestion, I'd say Tuesdays and Thursdays? Maybe Mondays and Thursdays if you want more time between streams. As far as time goes specifically, I'm not likely to be free earlier than 7 PM EST since I do a majority of my work during the week in the 12-4 pm PST timeframe. But that's just me and my schedule, don't structure your whole stream around me...
How long do you think you'd be streaming for at a time? As long as it takes to get to a good point to stop? Or would you be shooting for a rough amount of time per stream?

That's very close to what I was thinking already. The earliest I would start streaming would probably be 5pm EST and knowing me I expect them to at least hit the two hour mark, possibly longer if progress is being made or interests from viewers is still up. I definitely wanna do two days a week. Ideally I'd love a Tuesday/Thursday schedule, but lately my Thursdays involve a timed commitment right at 6pm, so that would definitely hinder that. And I need days in between primarily because I'm planning ahead for grinding days. Because let's face it, these are old school JRPGs which will require occasional grinding for levels and I see no reason to make people watch any more of that than necessary.
I'll keep thinking about it, in the meantime keep giving me your input guys, I appreciate all the help I can get here.

Xero Fantasy Live Stream ScheduleThe schedule for the Xero Fantasy live stream is: Mondays at 6pm EST Thursdays at 7pm EST
Streaming Begins Monday, December 12thThe live stream will take place: Xero Bloodline's Twitch ChannelThe live stream will last approximately two hours each night, longer if progress is being made and people are still interested. This is the tentative schedule for the live stream for now, but I will do my best to follow this schedule. If you can't make the live stream, no worries, because eventually the live streams will be split up into smaller episodes and uploaded to YouTube to watch whenever you want! I still urge everyone to watch the live stream. For one, these things go A LOT better when I have people to talk to, to bounce ideas off of and stories/jokes to tell. Second, you'll be able to participate in all aspects of the game, such as naming characters, choosing which characters/jobs I use, which sidequests I do and ignore, and even the opportunity to tell me how amazing/horrible I am at the game! I would like to thank everyone who has helped me so far, from everyone voting in the poll to helping me bounce ideas around, to just flat out showing interest in this little project of mine. With everyone's help we can take this as far as you guys want to, so thanks in advance for your continued support (I hope). I've been very excited about this, can't wait to get started, and I hope to see you all Monday for the beginning of the Fantasy of a Lifetime, the Xero Fantasy!
