If anyone of you have visited the latest AF newspot (before its eventual shutdown), you'd see that they have planned a nice release of Legends on the Japanese cellphones for playing. Sad part is that it's available for Japanese only, it's never meant for export out of Japan - except for two or three exceptions. This trend is in line with the previous cellphone games tehy had also made in the past. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Mega_Man_games#Mobile_phone_gamesOh would you look at that? A Legends Golfing game! Wouldn't it be better that Capcom released the Legends 3 game on port systems such as PS2 or 3 and such? Well, unforutnately, as Inafune repeatedly emphasizes, he wants to but the prospect of slim budget compared to his estimates of 15 million US dollars makes that slim. And I guess that's where teh cell phones come in.

They'd probably focus more on the internal market of Japan to sell those cell phone games. Besides, Japan has all sorts of hi-tech stuff on their cell phones, why not capitalize on that?

DOUBLE POST More Legends on Cell phones! Quote: MMNT. Great Five Islands Adventure Begins Cell phone savvy Rockman DASH fans in Japan now have something to be excited over, as Rockman DASH: The Great Five Islands Adventure has begun distribution on all 703i and 903i series phones. The game will be released in four installments over the next month and a half, and each of the five islands in the game has seven stages. Some of the game's features include full 3D animated cut scenes, item development and weapon customization. One of the things we don't really know about now, however, is the storyline (though from a couple screens it appears you have to find parts for the Flutter). While there's a high probability this game will remain a Japanese exclusive, we'll still keep up with the details. Linkie: www.capcom.co.jp/keitai/imode/foma_rockman_dash.html
