Watch this video clip and post a responce below. www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2718950?ifilmid=2718952The Problem: Is that conservatives will just write this off as liberal propoganda. They've proven that they are hard-headed even when the facts are right in front of them. Until everyone accepts this as an issue, there will be no action. That may be too late. Realization: It is time for people to realize that global warming is real. It is unfortunate that most people wont do anything until after it happens. Hindsight is 20/20! Why can't we get together as a whole and do somthing to stop global warming so our children have a half decent place to live? !!!!!

I for one want to change that, This is our planet, no our home. If we don't respect it then it will retaliate. Being Native American I have a little more appreciation for mother earth. We think of the planet earth as one big house, and for the most part, people like to have nice big houses.

It really does suck how adults put off problems until its not theirs anymore. Nice planet you're leaving me mom and dad.
To quote Calvin and Hobbes "<Calvin> Do you think you can refuse to inherite the planet? <Hobbes> I think once you're born its too late."

I agree with that sentance about us being mosters. But I don't think it's out time to go yet.
But hey, they odds are against us, this entire planet will be vaporized in another 3000 years. Due to the sun changing from a yellow dwarf to a red(forgot the rest of the name). and increasing in size to consume the first three planets.

Our sun has about 3 or 4 billion more years before it becomes a red giant (that's the term).

We don't have to worry about the red giant. Global warming is a much more imminant threat

waning!!! couldnt see clip so some info may have been talked bout, also long and filled with mistakes n blabber. Enjoy!
global warmming is.. well... what its suppost ta be of course is higher peak temperatures (yes cold n hot both) because a da ozone layer. newayss, still with all the facts n studies they did they keep rounding etc. with statistics etc. when did people actually start measuring temp, precip, etc.? just think if data from before the we had all are plants etc. would this have an effect? the amount of time it takes to gather all this info and then they realize they have to change something couldnt it just be too late. (i hate that!!) also we are apparently in the thawing of the ice age (pretty sure but i could be wrong. its been a while) which means later however many years that its suppost to start up again. (the earth has 2 seasons the hothouse and ice age course theyll never happen till a long time) if people think about stopping all these plants cuz a carbon monoxide etc. id say theyre a bunch a dumb@$$es. why? because you shouldnt have to see all this crap. do you like having your mouth around a tailpipe? didnt think so. obviously if it doesnt seem good for your body then odds are its bad for your enviroment. either way i think theres the possibility of us dying, destroying our planet, or perhaps moving (yeah other planets)... and then dying. lol just do what feels right man. i mean you litter or you dont.

For all we know, we're still just coming out of the last Ice Age, and global worming is not our fault, just natural. That is if globale warming was true, which I refuse to believe unless it reaches 200 degrees within the next 30 years. Then I'll consider the possibility.

Good job Ztrl, I was going to post something about this soon. It's true, our planet is heating up, and if we continue to guzzle gas the way we are now, then we're freakin doomed. The U.S. has to wean itself off of gas and switch to some alternative (e.g. recycled resources, hydrogen, although that's still iffy) I was reading Time magazine last week, and the cover story was global warming. The U.S. is by FAR the most energy-consuming country, using billions, even trillions, of gallons of oil a year.
@nightmare: Typical conservative, keeping your eyes closed in the midst of the truth. This isn't natural. Temperatures have NEVER risen this quickly in previous centuries, and that's because previous centuries still didn't abuse oil, and cars weren't around yet. We ARE causing this. Did you here what Gore said in the movie? The 10 highest temperatures in the U.S. have ocurred in the last 14 years! One more thing. By 2050, an estimated one million species of animals will become extinct due to global warming. Unless we act now, that is.

temperatures risen is still a question for me. there is no actual thing a a "year" for the earth, so what if we were gradually slipping off each year? just thought.

Whether there are years or not doesn't matter. Years just serve to measure time, and it's obvious that in recent years the temperatures have gone up. They'll keep going up so long as we continue burning oil.
