Megaman may have the most stand-alone titles, but Mario has appeared in at least 116 games, making him the most common video game a character to ever exist. >

Well, we are taking about the Megaman games in which Megaman or his derivatives are the core characters. Mario-wise I think you'd talking about a lot of cameos. Like the recent game ... Super Smash Brothers Brawl or whatever its name is.

The only Megaman movie I now was created was for the BN series. Something about Megaman and Bass working together, but it was so short they have to team up with another show so the whole thing is 1 1/2 hours together.
