Some people seem to be under the delusion that it's not a book because it's called a "Death Note." I wanna see if I'm right, or if I'm the crazy one.

Anyone who can't see that the Death Note clearly opens, has pages, etc, and is a notebook is dillusional. Yes, it is a book.

.... No. The movies and the series have implied it is a notebook. Not just a simpl shread of paper.

It's a book in which you write notes, specifically names and methods of death. That doesn't mean the obect itself is a note. It's clearly a book.

This question never sounded as a joke in the first place - we were talking about some aspect of Death note which was not supposed to make people delusional of its original contents.

Dude...it's a notebook. Take it from me, I've already seen the entire series, read the manga, and seen the movie. Months ago. It really gets boring once L dies...

Correct with the canon indeed, it is a notebook. Who said it was a simple piece of paper again?
