Think of this show as a newer Azumanga Daioh, where there's no central plot to the whole series. And it is about the lifes of ordinary students.

They are pretty much normal people the way I see it. Just girls who tak together on many stuff Japanese, especially anime and food. Like a The Life Of Someone, only the someone is plural and it's four friends.

Why not. Some people enjoy teasing friends and having fun. You can't help the fact that she's short and an otaku, which is really something of normalcy in Japan. That being said, enjoy the series. I'm currently up at Episode 9.

If a anime or serialized manga is popular enough, usually they'd vote for making a good game out of it. It's all in the building of consumer trust. They wouldn't want to risk mistakes for losing cash. Well, that's the principle behind the business anyway - can't be helped.
