I read this short review of the 4 panel strips and the anime under the same name and it seems ... wow, it got popular overnight upon publication and Akibahara is reportedly flooded with fans due to the series' use of real setting places. More info here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucky_Star_%28manga%29And it grw into its own anime series. The first episode (subbed): Opinions and ideas and comments is free at the floor.

I'm on episode three, myself. It's... Certainly very kawaii. Not bad, but not something I'd choose if it hadn't been recommended.
(I had watched the first two eps before you posted this.)
Also, I like some parts of the theme song, but not others... The chorus is really good, but the rest makes me not want to download it. D:

Hah hah. That's nice.
I'm more towards the comedy on Japanese culture there. A lot of information you'd never know, so ... watch out for those subs.

Yeah, I get some of those "in jokes" for Japanese people, but not all of 'em. I have my otaku friends to thank for that.

Ha ha. And it's popular in Japan too. And it's a boost for domestic tourism.
I want to watch Episode 5, but not until I'm convinced my Internet is longlasting.

Eh, it's not bad. Azumanga is funnier. I mean, all they freaking talk about is food! Give it a rest! Oh, but the theme song is damn catchy...my gf was practicing it the other day...she made me join her and I nearly busted my ass...lol

They only talk about food in the first episode.

Yeah, it's only in the first episode the talk about food. The rest of the series further progresses about their lifes and parents. There is when the real funnies start to jump in.

Azumanga is still funnier in my opinion. I liked that parody hey made on Initial D though, forgot what episode that was...

That was Episode 6. I just watched it. Funny how a cop who observes the traffic rules suddenly turns crazy and speeds like crazy! Ha ha!

Lucky Star rules. Reaver yelled at me for like a week straight until I watched it and I'm glad he did. I enjoy it alot, it's different from most other anime. XD
I'm only on Episode 10 myself.

Ohie, this thread is growing. Yay.
Wow, Nightmare is so fast! I just started on Episode 7 though. And I'm amused that Reaver yelled pestering you to watch the show.
Oh the Swim is definitely good. That Dance I see. Indeed that was entertaining too.
On another subject of Lucky Star, Shiraishi has finally been able to retort back at Akira for her madness in Episode 24.
And another word of news, Lucky Star the game has just been released for the PS2 in Japan like a week ago. Those who really love this series would want this game too, well provided you know the language.
