Thank you for covering all this as usual Ztrl, its nice to have all the info in one place. My reaction so far was kind of meh. I'm not crazy about the news of Halos 4, 5 and 6 seeing as the series has been in decline imo in recent years. Maybe the reinsertion of Master Chief as the main character will bring life back into the series, but I kind of doubt it. Most of the rest of their presentation seemed to revolve around the Kinect feature, which was pretty cool but won't have me lining up just so that I can make a more perfect avatar or download my real life items into a video game and make them hop and dance. Kinect did have a couple cool features though. I think Mass Effect 3 will be really cool with the ability to give verbal commands to your squad, tell them what to do and they do it, its brilliant. This will make squad based games much more efficient. And then there's the glorified Wii Sports, we've seen it before but Microsoft has improved it seemingly. I really don't care too much for motion controls as they are now, that star wars game looked so clunky and slow, and those kids waving their arms around for that Peter Pan game made me ashamed to be a gamer. Really, until they can perfect motion based gaming to the point where I don't have to look like an idiot while I play I'm perfectly happy with a traditional controller. Although it was kinda cool watching the guy throw fireballs in that new Fable game, I kept waiting for him to yell "Hadouken" but he never did. And then my favorite part of E3 so far, totally unrelated to the Microsoft presentation. www.swtor.com/media/trailers/returnThis trailer is about 6 minutes of pure fangasm, now if only they'll give us a release date. Keep it coming E3.
