1. Clinton was a douche 2. Bush rules 3. this subject is a bit contraversial, and I think that we should stop before things get out of hand.

Oh come on, just because something is controversial? Im asking people to state their opinions, not get into a fight. Controversial topics are what bring people to threads. Also, no offense Nightmare, but you're the one calling Clinton a douche...

Also, no offense Nightmare, but you're the one calling Clinton a douche... Alright, first of all, Clinton IS a douche. Second of all, I agree with you on the whole contraversial subject thing, but I just don't want to see it get out of hand. I'm just trying to do my job, so gimme a break, okay? If you guys wanna continue with this, fine, I've stated my opinion, but I don't want any fights breaking out. It's fine so long as it don't get out of hand.

im not going to argue that clinton is a douche, because ever election from the beginning of time is always between a douche and a turd, but I really think he did a better job than bush.

I think I prefer a guy who's had an affair over a guy who can't eat a pretzel without choking, gets his face smashed in every time he rides a bike, and has had a DUI some 20 odd years ago.

Well, I'm not going to say anything else, other than I'm proud of the way Bush handled the war and the attack on 9/11.

Well, nobody can really touch that subject too much, and I'm not gonna be an ass and say that any other pres could've handled it better, because we never had another pres in that sort of situation. So unless we have another tragedy on par with 9/11, and that pres handles it better, I'm not gonna say anything about the way Bush handled it.

I don't think you can say that there was no other president that handled a situation like 9/11. Pearl Harbor was pretty bad.
And in my own opinion, we'd all be dead by now if Al Gore or John Kerry were elected. I'm not saying this to be offensive, it's just that I'm not confident in their abilities.

You're right it was pretty bad, however, Pearl Harbor involved soldiers that were supposed to be ready for something like that. 9/11 involved thousands of innocents. We also can't analyze that situation too well since we weren't even born yet.Though we do know the outcome of it, don't we? Harry Truman bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which I have mixed feelings about. But what you say about Al Gore and John Kerry, you'll never really know, will you? They weren't elected to office so we'll never really know what they'd be capable of. Which was what I was trying to say before. Few presidents have had to deal with a tragedy such as 9/11 (in our time anyway) so it's hard to compare it with anything else.
