Continuing their amazing backing of the Nintendo DS, Square Enix has announced a sequel to one of the most anticipated games of the year, if not this past console generation, Final Fantasy XII.
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings takes place after the original PlayStation 2 title ends and seems to follow strictly Vaan and Penelo from that game. No gameplay details have been released yet.
A couple weeks back, Electronic Gaming Monthly said it was rumored that Square Enix is working on a strategy RPG Final Fantasy XIII spinoff for DS. Could it really have been a Final Fantasy XII spinoff or could there be two new games coming to the DS?
