Ok, here’s the deal K.O., you must now convince me why I should play this game. How is it better than the countless other free MMO’s out there that have failed to keep my interest?

Well, the spears should keep your interest! No seriously, what makes this game better in my opinion than all other is the amount of effort put into the game. The graphics are better than any free game I have ever seen, in fact they're as good as any game you'd normally pay for. The number of quests is more than enough, and they DO have varaiety (Unlike many free games where the quests are all, go kill 20 spiders). The gameplay system (Skills, levels, weapon enchantments...) is quite unique, you can choose to be whatever kind of character you want to be. You can train your skills on any of 3 weapon types: spears, swords or bows. And you can also try different magic. So basically you can be any kind of character, an all around magician, weapon master, a master of Ice magic, or a spear master. Whatever you want you can do, I for example chose to focus on spears and lightning (I love stabbing someone and watching lightning flow through them). The job system is also different, you can do any of the 3 jobs: trader (can sell special material for great prices), thief (his job is robbing a trader's stuff by killing or any other means of theft), and hunter (his job is hunting thieves for the bounty on their heads and protecting traders). Hardly any lag, and my computer and connection are not fast. The items in this game are bad-ass, and so are the effects. Basically this game is simply great for a free game, and even for a game you;d pay for.

Sure, please do try it out. It would be cool to have more people from ZV playing it. Here's a link: Silkroad

It's hard to level up after a certain level, but all games are like that. It makes the game more challenging and fun. Besides It's not too hard on this game. You go do a few quests and you level up, I got to level 18 in about 4 days.

It's very similiar to WoW... I tried it with my cousin, we played for like.. 2 days and got bored of it. Tony, theres no need to play this game, it's not worth the time. =P
Oh and in PSU it gets hard to level from 50 to 60. 1-50 is just fun.

KO, I'm having some installation problems. It tells me I need to install DirectX. I did, but I don't know where to save it in and where to place the extracted files.
