So I saw Nightmare ask "What is that and can I have it?" and thankfully someone besides me knew what X-Buster was. Megaman. Quake 3. Bliss. The site's motto proves true!
Introducing X-Buster, the WIP Quake 3 mod. A freeware Quake 3 mod of already massive proportions, X-Buster aims to please every Megaman fan's heart. The characters in the first release (a.k.a the first release) are Megaman X & Forte. There isn't much of a community behind X-Buster, as apparantly so few have stayed with the project long enough to tell others about it.
Playing as X will, of course, give you the X-Buster as a primary weapon. Use it like a trusted weapon, when you upgrade it, it's lethality shoots through the roof at maximum charge. Playing as Forte, however, gets you the rapid fire buster Forte was known for in Rockman & Forte, only now he can run & gun with his buster firing wildly.
Some of you may say, "But I don't have Quake 3!" but that's alright, you can download and use OpenArena, the freeware Quake 3 to use X-Buster, even though there A specific way to install and run the mod.
