i would've been the first to call out against WoW. Mock its players, laugh at them finger pointed in the streets,
Then i decided not to be a self righteous hypocrite and try the game, seeing as i proffess trying things before flaming them.
3 weeks later i'm addicted.
what can i say, its a suprisingly fun game. For the most part (i find RP servers better for this) A nice pleasent and fun community. I had lots of help stating out, something i cant claim in any other online game i've tied with teh exception of L2 on a private serever, but barely anyone played there anyways... After questing for awhile with someone he invited me to the guild he was in, since then i've found all the members helpful and pleasent to chat with. Even people outside my guild are extremely helpful, not that many idiots wander around going "How I mine 4 fish?" The actual World in WoW is extensive, different locations are all presented wonderfully, the music for each location is different and enjoyable. I've found people of al sors play the game, my social studies teacher, then man who invited me to the guild? 62 yers old and retired, his son and his sons wife run the guild. Wide variety of players old and young bring a fresh expierance to the game.
So many people out there diss WoW. I dont know why i did anymore. Give games a chance before putting them down, and if you have a legit prob with it dont go "ZOMG THIS GAME SUXXORZ" after all pe[ple you cant be that judgemental "People who play runescape/maple story should not insult another gamers MMO."
~Hailfire Signing out.
PS: Horde for the win! Alliance is teh suxxorz!

Once again I must state how I feel about WoW.
I've played WoW, I had a lvl 40 Night Elf Warrior (after I got to 40 my brother didn't want me playing on his account any more). I think it is a fun game, but there are some thing about it that I don't like.
1) It is way to damn easy to level up in WoW. I personally like it when there is a challenge to get EXP. 2) The art style really doesn't work for me. 3) The game has too much focus on PvP. 4) There is no real storyline to WoW. 5) It is the new Halo. Now when I say that, what I mean is everyone treats it as the greatest thing ever, like it's the MMO that fell out of god's ass. Just like how people treated Halo when it first came out.
Other than those five things, WoW is an ok game.

Well, I haven't played the game myself, but I know people who do. It appears to be a pretty good game, my computer sucks too much or I might try it. But like Tony said, the art style is too... I dunno... Colorful I guess. Just doesn't seem to fit. It's like reading a fantasy book while you're on an acid trip.

i liek teh cad comic comparison vs EQ2's more utilitarian, where as you could have "Queer eye for teh WoW guy" and yeah at times its to easy to lvl up, or to hard, and i gert lost reallly easily. And i find fitting a storyline in an MMO hard. Few can do it well, and yeah its not the best thing to come to MMOs... i prefer EVE, but i can go on time cards for this, no credit card needed

Sure WoW has few good sides..
#1 being the gigantic world you'r free to roam in... but wich repeats itself too much... After seeing the 1st forest the rest look the same.
#2 Undeads FTW...
#3 uhm... ok im out... thats all the + I give it.
WoW sucks...
so does Runescape, I mean COME ON The fighting is like.. *I hit you. You hit me. I hit you. You hit me. I hit you, you die.* whoopy freakin doo...
PSU however... ;D
Tony.. didn't you say you don't care about the looks???

Just a tale I'd like to share with you.
My relative claims that playing Warcrft makes him a better student and strategist. Somehow for reasons I don't know how, he applid Warcraft to exams.
But in the end of the big exam, he only scored 6 As (you know, A, Distinction...) out of 10As. How ironic, since he was aiming for all 10.
So much for that.

I havent played it, but ever since the game has been announced I dream of playing it. Why? For me it's the Diablo 3 I never got and I love the Warcraft elements the game has.
