Thanks for the great comments everyone. I decided to make a new concept design thing for my sprite, to make it look more like my sprite than my old concept design drawing. I also thought that it would be cool to add some other weapons that can attach to his wrist, and not just his main blades. Some parts are scribbly due to the fact my arm is shaking like mad now. It got numb last night when I was playing badminton. Even as i'm typing now i'm fixing the many typos I'm making.

*double post* Currently I'm practicing on cleaner CG'ing styles, like inking which my cousin showed me a little and cell shading. I wanna actualy due outlines for these so it can look cleaner. Though my pen tool got a little messed up. Whenever I make a path with it, instead of it making an outline it fills in the shapes. Anyone know how to set it back to making outlines? Also, can anyone show and recomend some other tools that might be better for making the lineart than the pen tool? I find the tool annoying due to always making those extra shape layers. Oh yeah, and... Sketch I did just now so I could have my own drawing to CG. I kinda got too excited and put in a bunch of details. Yes I know the gun dosent look realistic, I just put in some random doodads >_>. The feet are a bit odd, I'll fix those and some other errors I see when I make the lineart for it.

I'd like some comments too >_>;. Did this about a day after my last drawing. I fixed some major issues and finaly fixed his foot after redrawing it for like 5 times. It's going to be hard to CG so once I do some better cgs I'll try to color this one in. Drawing I did for my navi's Battle chip portrait. I did the other limbs for fun. The legs aren't exactly correct but I'm mainly focusing on the upper body for the chip portrait anyway. Any proportional errors will be fixed when I color/clean/sprite the image in paint.

Thanks Elusis and Nightmare. I drew a quick messy sketch for the new design of Raiken, so I can get to his sprite. His design has some simularities with the old sprite, (i made a navi sprite of him before, i'll post it here sometime later) except I added wires on his back. They're supposed to create sparks and jump a lot >_>. He might look a little shorter than my Navi but they're supposed to be the same height. He uses electric brace knuckles on his fingers, which I was too lazy to draw on the concept sketch. It might be changed as I work on the sprite. I did a bio I just came up as I'm posting. Raiken.exe Attack Element: Electric and Breaker Body Element: Electric Hp: 500 First created as a navi used as a battery source. Originaly was connected to some special electronic device to keep powering up the computers and stuff in the company building. Raiken later thinking he was just used as a battery decided to de attach himself from the machine, which explains the cut off wires in his back. This caused major problems in his body, and cut his max hp to only 500, which is pretty pathetic for a battery. He dosen't have any special battle abilities, but he has one ability which is absorbing and sharing energy with other electronic devices. As the years gone by hes absorbed many things throughout the net which changed his appearene and gave him a lot of net battling experience. Bio will be changed too later if needed.

Dont you think its wierd for a battery to have a humanoid form?

Not if they want the battery to protect whatever it's powering? I'unno. o.o; Picture looks great though. Keep it up.

Ya know, its kinda like how they had Melfina a human android as the key for the leyline in Outlaw star, or why giant robots are shaped as humans. Its all fictional stuff Elusis. >.>;;;. I just thought batteries would make a cool navi.

I finished watching the Eureka SeveN anime some months ago, and recently I watched the whole series again. I love this series, it has robots that sky surf and transform into automobiles!.... img146.imageshack.us/img146/2600/conceptlfovc9.gifIt's probably too messy to notice any detail, but I mostly drew this as a test to practice the LFO mecha style from Eureka SeveN, with the long legs and arms, and blocky like hands. I'm still practicing this style, I'll come up with a cleaner sketch once I get the concept down. But really, I just REALLY wanted to draw a sky surfing robot.

Sweet. I always liked the Eureka Seven art work as well. The picture looks cool, but I can't really make out detail. XP
Good work though.

I forgot to show this pic, I was going to at some point. It was done about a day after the last pic I posted. Another LFO drawing. This time the design points match it more though its a little too bulky, probably needs to be taller. I'll post some more stuff soon.
