Even if it's a chibi, body proportions should be adhered to. Nice art though.

Something bugs me about the proportions on that chibi... It's like you left the torso the same as a regular drawing. I think it's sort of a Wind Waker-ish chibi style, moreso than the traditional chibified. Even if it's a chibi, body proportions should be adhered to. Nice art though. That's a pretty epic oxymoron. Seeing as though the whole Chibified style is based on the proportions being grossly deformed. Anyhow HZ, looks good. As for your question about DeviantArt, I say go for it if you want. If it's anything like my work, you won't get a crap load of page views anyway (only way to do that is draw crap from Naruto or an anime people like gawking at pictures from XD) so it couldn't hurt either way.

Sorella - Prototype DesignI know I used this before in her other drawings, but I just now realized that her clothing doesn't exactly work, It's a little clunky and I don't know how the hell I'll easily make poses for that. Though I doubt I will accomplish something that good anyway. =\ I asked Renegade to draw a new outfit for her so I may see what i can do with that, cause it looks pretty good. Edit: Interesting note about her compared to Luna. I'm not exaggerating her chest area. Even so, they're supposed to look smaller cause she binds them down to be more useful in combat, that and she's really...really... really modest about her personal appearance. I forgot this detail about her when I was drawing it... Oh well. =\ As usual, C+C and thanks for looking.

I agree with Fann, she looks fine to me. Didn't you say you were gonna try a position other than the 3/4 stance, though?

Luna, yet again Was practicing with Guidelines and Wooden Doll like methods of drawing body shape, and it came out pretty well. Naturally, I just drew Luna from that. Why Luna and not Sorella, now that Sorella is a bit more relevant to what I need to work with? Honestly, cause I find Luna more fun to draw than Sorella. I just like how well her design comes out the last few times I worked with her. Anyway, C+C and thanks for looking.

Compared to past works, proportion came out best in this piece. So you're really getting the hang of the method from what I see. Said method is guidelines and the like.

Sorella's new outfitBased off the one Rene made me in his thread. I changed a few things though. (For example, I got rid of the scarf around her neck) and I think I did well enough. Once again, I used the wooden figure method for this one. Edit: Before I go off with the usual requesting of C+C, I'm asking you guys to start being a bit more critical with the comments from here on out. Reason being is that I want to improve as much as I can, so any kind of criticism and/or advice will help me out more in the long run. If there's anything wrong, don't be afraid to point it out. Thanks again. C+C and thanks for looking.

Okay, brutal comment tiemz.
...
I got nothing. This is probably one of your best works, and there's not really anything to gripe about. I guess maybe I'd have put another line on the palm of her hand to make out the shape of the palm a little more, and made her somewhat less perky (since it looks like she must be wearing an epic bra to get them to not hang down like at all) but that's about all I can say.
Seriously though, good work.

You have been at your epoch all this while, so usually there's nothing much to say.
But ... I do have something. Tone down the girlishness in the characters and get them to have real deal emotions - like serious face and sad face - something that makes your stuff more realistic and relatable.

I'll probably make an emotional range chart and see how that goes, but right now I'll stick to just basic designing. Anyway, new drawing. MorganI tried my hand at redesigning Morgan from Cursed Bloodlines. I went for a more simplified design rather than what she had on in her sprite (Really, I couldn't make it out.) and closed her eyes. Permanently. The eye thing is caused by the trauma of seeing Xero, or Bloody Nightmare, murdering everyone around her. She can still sense things around her, but she never opens her eyes. The only time she does open them is right before she gets killed, trying to snap Xero out of being the Bloody Nightmare. The bracelet on her arm holds no real significance, just put it there to look cool really. (If any of this doesn't fit with your story at all, Xero, let me know.) As usual, C+C and thanks for looking. Again, I'm looking for more harsh criticism. Thanks again.

Arm size and thickness inconsistency is found comparing both arms. The left arm should adjust to be the same bigger thickness as the right arm. Legs and head are all fine, but you should erase the leg sketch lines at the skirt. The skirt is okay, but realistically for it to be a bit spreading out is impossible, since it never happens, even if a soft wind blows by her. Ought to be more bendy and lines and all, that skirt.
