I know its kinda late in the day to be starting this, but I just woke up. We all remember that horrible day all too well. And from the few posts I've seen around here, we were all moved in one way or another because of it. I remember almost everything I did that day. I had just sat down in my car after English class at college, and was on my way to get breakfast. It was on every radio station I flipped to that a plane had hit the World Trade Center in New York. I went to the mall after breakfast, and the store clerk in EB told me a plane had hit the Pentagon too. It made me shudder when I realized there was no way any of this was an accident. How can anyone be so sadistic enough to want to kill hundreds and thousands of innocent people? And all because they believe their way of life is right and ours is wrong? We all love watching cartoons and such where the bad guys are hell-bent on world domination, and kill innocent bystanders to anger the good guys. But nobody ever realizes that it can happen here in the real world too. But thankfully, just as those bad guys from the cartoons exist here, so do the good guys. I work in a military town, I'm around Marines all the time. I've made quite a few friends just to find out they're going oversees in the next few days. Its a little unnerving to think this new friend of yours might not come back. But thank God for those who are willing to fight, so that I can enjoy the simple freedom of sitting right here and typing this to all of you. I apologize for this long speech here, but sometimes feelings inside you just have to come out. That's why I made this thread. If you have to let it go, let it go here. If you don't want to share what you're thinking, or don't really have any feelings on the matter, that's fine too. So thanks for reading this long spill here, and Nightmare's ava says it best. God Bless America.

yeah...Xero... i was in umm... lets see... english class as well in 6th grade... when we heard some crazy teacher running in the hallways saying " THE WORLD TRADE CENTER HAS BEEN HIT!" and i was like wtf? tho i was like about... 11 it was crazy.... like the next day or week or w/e gas prices went sky rocketing, it was unbelieveable... i though all hell broke loose, i think 9/11 has had a great effect on us all, and shall not be forgotten... and also, thinking there will be a WW3 or somthing and thinking about the iraqi's sending a nuclear missle at our armory in illinois scared me to hell, hearing about these nukes scared me, ppl saying that it will desinigrate everything once it hits, you flesh would be desinigrated like pouring water on fire... yeah... today will be hard for alot of people...

I just arrived at school, I was in Middle school back then, the children weren't playing, the teachers weren't working, everyone was watching the T.V...I looked up, just in time to see the tower struck by the plane...My friends ran up to me and said "Did you see that!? Someone's attacking the Twin Towers!" I sat with my friends and watched as the second tower was struck, and later, collapsed. 9/11 was one of those days you'll never forget, just like Pearl Harbor... I love America and the thought of people being killed, the thught that our freedom is at stake, well, it makes me sick. At school, every 9/11, at 9:11 AM, we all stop working, we all go outside, and we raise the American flag, half way up the pole, and we all put our hands on our heats and sing our national anthem... I will never forget September 11th, 2001, and I don't think anyone should...

I was out sick from school, allergies were acting up. I was at my grandmother's house, because I requested to be taken there. I was just minding my business, and playing Megaman 6 when my grandma asks me to come to the staircase (I was on the top floor, she was on the bottom). She tells me that something with the twin towers is up. Being the news-catcher I am, I decided to go into the other nearby room and watch what was going on. I was able to see BOTH planes hit the towers, and when they replayed the first one I thought a third tower had been hit. Yes, I myself wasn't emotionally affected as many people were on that day, but I remember that day clearly.
And on an unrelated note: This is the fourth year in a row that I've gotten sick on or before 9\11.

I'd hate to be the guy that knows someone like that...

If you have nothing nice to say then shut the hell up and keep it to yourself. I understand you're entitled to your opinion, but at least show some respect for the dead.

I was just getting up for school (I think I was in 6th grade) and after I had taken a shower and gotten dressed, I was waiting on the couch for the bus when my dad turned on the news (as always). And I went up and went to the bathroom. When I got back, I saw the two towers struck down by planes on TV. I also heard alot of reports of killings in the airplane BEFORE it hit. 9/11 was a horrible day. Something no one in America could forget. Not even you coldhearted people. You'll remember this, I'm positive. I hope to god something like that never happens again, and whoever did it die a painful death in vain.
