the last bosses in Zero series are pansies.. same goes for ZX.. I'm gonna say, Either Sigma from X2 OR Life Virus from Megaman Battle network Transmission (unlike the other BN games this was a 3d side scroller for the GC) The boss had 2 forms, 1st one being the original life virus which in this game was decently hard. But then comes the second form that kills you from 2 and a half hits... he flies so low he'd hit you if you didn't slide under him, this wouldn't be so hard if he wasn't constantly spitting down on the ground and moving in a wavy pattern...

I agree that Sigma X2 is hard. Annoying materialized Maverick Mechaniloids he spit from his cybernatic mouth.

I liked those guys, they gave me much needed health.
X5 was about the same as X4, I spent all night trying to beat him but now he's cake. Nighty is right about X6, he's a pushover all the time.
So it sounds like Sigma did it right in X3? I think that was the most difficult one by far anyway.

I've heard that X2 and X3 Sigmas were hard, but honestly, those were the easiest for me. I beat X2 Sigma even though I wasted a Sub-Tank fighting Zero (cause I was too lazy to repair him) and I never got the Gold Armor or Z-Saber in X3 (lazy, and liked Zero too much to kill him) so I beat Sigma without those.

So sad, I didn't get any powerups from those viral Mechaniloids Sigma spits out in X2.
Aha, but I was hardworking enough to save Zero in X2, but I got lazy fighting for his easy chop-chop saber in X3. True, X3 is hard. But X8 was too much of a cake.

In X1, Sigma was a pushover... So easy to beat first form without even taking a hit. Then second from was harder... But not so hard that it isn't possible to beat him with one of the subtanks. X2 I found was incredibly simple... X3's was harder... probably the hardest. X4... far too easy first 2 forms... Even without using the cheap ultimate armor nova strike. 3rd form was a little more difficult but not too bad if you had a full subtank. X5... I haven't beat, so I can't judge it... X6... Also haven't beat. X7 First form is pathetically easy, second form is alot harder... X8... well Sigma was pretty easy. Might take one or two hits when fighting him, but nothing too bad.

If you can, get the X Collection disc and start playing X5 and X6.

If I were to judge all the Sigmas...
X1, The dog was cake, the first form was kinda annoying, the second form was pretty hard. X2, Zero was a fun challenge, Sigmas first form was easy, and his final form was cake. X3, First form I can get through with only taking a hit or two, the final form was alot harder then the first, but nothing really. X4, First form was nothing, can easily get through that with no damage, second form was tougher, but not TOO bad, and the Final Form was the hardest Sigma I ever fought. X5, First form wasn't too bad, second form took a couple tries but not that hard. X6, Both forms were a disappointment, didn't use a single Sub Tank. X7, I don't remember. I only played through X7 once and I have absolutely no urge to play it again. >.>; X8, Sigma was pretty tricky, but not too much, Lumine wasn't that bad in his first form, but you gotta be careful, Lumine's final form was a bit of a challenge, but nothing I couldn't handle.

Hoho. I wouldn't want to fight Zero in X2. Then again, is he easy to defeat? I agree with you for the X4 first form. Rather easy once you know that his scythe should be on the wall, NOT the floor. X6 - One time I underestimated him, and suddenly he was shooting huge grey expanding plasmas from his mouth. X8 Sigma tricky? Ha ha. He was the easiest. Lumine is pure easy, I wonder how he can be challenging - unless you want to die when he launched Paradise Lost.

OMG every sigma form is easy for me. The only one i find annoying but not hard is X4's final. The hardest boss is definately Wily from MM7.

First form Sigma from X1... He was so easy... All you had to do was charge a shot, climb to the top left of the wall, wait til he touched jus below you then you drop down and shoot him, then when he drops down you you repeat. Beat him without taking a single hit.

In light of this discussion, I would like to conclude that the bosses of Zero are nowhere as testy as those of X.

MMZ1, X wasn't that hard. Took a couple tries, but not that bad. MMZ2, Elpis wasn't that bad either. Again, maybe took me a few tries, but not too challenging. MMZ3, Omega was harder than X and Elpis, but still, nothing I couldn't handle. I never played MMZ4, so I can't judge.
It's been too long since I've played any of the original MM games, I don't remember what the Final Boss was like in any of them...
I never beat a MMBN game. I played them all save for one of them, but I never beat em. Battle Network sucked. >.>;
ZX was tough, but again, not that bad. Haven't played ZXA yet...
Legends 1, Juno was really fun, not particularly hard though. Especially with the right special weapons. Legends 2, the final boss was alot harder than Legends 1 in my opinion, but I got it eventually.
I'd say that MMX was indeed the series with the hardest bosses, but the original MM Games had harder stages, and MMZ1 was probably the hardest MegaMan game I ever played.

I don't think Omega was that hard however. Just have to cleverly dodge his attacks here and there. And a key part of it is to keep running fast. X adn Elpizo were harder acording to my experience.
Fighting Legends 1 and 2 final bosses got me literally jumping on the floor hard.
Arghie, MM2 Wily was the hardest. I first got in there and I didn't know where to attack as his weakness. I suffered lots and died too many times. Lack of Energy tanks ... I never beat MM1 to MM3 and MM5 before. MM8 was a piece of delicious cake.

In MMBN for me, Dou was the hardest Boss
