I'm going to clear up what Fusion said about getting Model Ox, cause I was confused after reading his explination, and I had to have Ztrl walk me through it.
Model Ox - Before you begin, make sure you have
at least 2 Sub Tanks, more couldn't hurt, but have at least two. Unless you're in Hard Mode, in which case, before you begin, make sure you have money to replace your DS in case you throw it against the wall. <.<;
After you Clear Area M and defeat Pandora, you will reach a Transerver. Save, Transport out, Stock up on Extra Lives, Fill your Sub Tanks (or pray to your God or Deity, if you're in Hard Mode <.<
, Transport back, and Save again.
Now, go through the door that will take you to Area N-1. You will be ambushed by a fire-breathing Face if you're not watching where you're going. Drop down to the path directly below the one you're on after killing the Face, and prepare to kill two more. You should eventually enter a different room, it will be green and black and stuff. Kill the Red crystal enemies, and press on. Try not to get hurt by the enemy generator. Destroy it, and proceed to dash under the spikes (or go over them, for our cautious members.)
You will now encounter disappearing blocks. Switch to Model Hx and just walk across the ground. When you reach the spiky wall, wait for a block to appear above your head, and Air-Dash up onto it, and just hop across the blocks until you land on the solid one with the big E-Crystal on it. Just Air-Dash/Hover over the Fire-Breathing Faces and you'll come across a long hallway with spikes across the ground and cieling. I know how much you all love those. >.>;
Wait for a block to appear before you. Now, here's the annoying part. Quickly jump across the dissappearing/reappearing blocks, if you use the Model Hx Dash Jump-Air Dash-Hover combo, you should be able to skip half of it, but be sure not to jump too high, or the spikes on the cieling will make short work of you. You should now be standing before a door. Go through the door, genious. <.<;
At this point, it's too late to say "ocrap I got 0 guys." or "I could have sworn I filled my Sub Tanks before I got here." or "Did I save after I beat Pandora..?", so I'm going to hope you were paying attention at the beginning. Walk into the center of the room, and Omega will appear just as he did in the final battle in MegaMan Zero 3. But, don't let his appearance fool you, he's much harder in ZX than he is in Zero 3. >.>;
Now, Fusion said that you
HAD to use Model Zx to beat him, but I got Model Ox in Normal Mode by beating him with Model Zx, and Hard Mode by beating him with Model X, I don't know about using any other Models, but I guarentee you'll want to use Model X for this fight, or Model Zx if you don't have Model X.
Remember, use Model X if you have it, and Model Zx if not.
Because you can't double jump with any Model in this game, avoiding Omega has gotten considerably harder. You have to jump over him with well timed dash-jumps, and dash under him when he jumps. In ZX, his attacks are very similar to his attacks in Z3, but I'll go over them anyways.
Normal Sword Combo - The Standard three-hit MegaMan Zero sword combo. Just back away from him and shoot when he does this. It hurts, but it's not that bad (cept in Hard Mode. >.>
MegaMan X2 Combo - Zero's Combo from MegaMan X2, and Omegas Combo from MegaMan Zero 3, two consecutive Charged Buster Shots, followed by an energy Blade released from the Sword. Dash-jump towards the Blasts to avoid the first two, then dash-jump away from the energy blade, but turn around mid-air, and you should be able to dodge all three shots if your timing is right. This attack does some good damage, so try to avoid it.
Advanced Sword Combo - He'll corner you, and relentlessly beat you with his sword, alot... It hurts like hell (and in Hard Mode, it
WILL kill you, no questions asked), so don't ever let him get to close to you while you're in the corner of the room, cause there's no way to get away from this one. Once he starts, he's gotta finish either you, or the combo. >.>;
Recovery - He'll do that attack where he punches the ground and the pillars of energy spin around him, just like in Z3, cept in this one, he recovers life while doing that. <.<; All you gotta do is stay back and it won't hurt you.
Giga Attack - This is just Like Zero's Giga Attack in MegaMan X4 and X5, and just like Omegas attack from MegaMan Zero 3, he'll punch the ground and send little energy spheres in all directions. This one's real annoying, it's easy to dodge by itself, but when Omega is chasing you, or shooting at you while one of those energy spheres is coming at you across the ground, it's real annoying.
Charges Sword - Just like in MegaMan Zero 3, Omega gets a big-ass charged sword attack that will cause rocks to rain from the ceiling. It's easy to dodge, just keep your distance and shoot.
Energy Spin - This one, like the Giga Attack, is annoying. He'll do the attack from Z3 and spin with his saber in mid air, sending little energy blades flying in all directions. This one is easy to dodge by itself, but like I said, can't really dodge it while you're avoiding Omega.
Upward Slash - He seems to favor this attack, which is good. He jumps into the air swinging his sword. Just dash under him, and pelt him with charged shots while he falls.
That's it for his attacks. All else you really need to know about the battle is to keep moving at all times, and keep your buster charged, and fire it every chance you get. As long as you don't let Omega get close enough to hit you with his sword, you should be fine, but like I said, Sub Tanks come in handy (cept in Hard Mode. >.>
. Once you defeat Omega, here's where the Hard Part begins... Yes, this part gave me more trouble than fighting Omega...
Exit through the door you came in through, time to go back across the disappearing blocks. It's alot harder on the way back, but if you're real cautious, you should be able to get close enough to use Model Hx to get you the rest of the way. Now, kill the Fire-Breathing Faces, and you'll come to a rather tall wall, covered in spikes....
Yeah, I know...>.>;
Use Model Hx, and
CAREFULLY Air-Dash up, and grab onto the ledge above the spikes, and climb up. Just jump down, and backtrack, kill the enemy generator, Red Crystals, and Fire-Breathing Faces again, and I'd suggest going up to the Transerver, so you can heal and SAVE. But for the love of all that is Holy,
DON'T leave Area N-1. Go back through the door after saving, and drop down to the bottom pathway. You should have some stuff to kill. Anyways, go through the door, you should reach a long room, with three other doors in it. The two on the wall should say "Cannot Access this Door without MegaMan Zero 3 in cartridge slot." and "Cannot Access this Door without MegaMan Zero 4 in cartridge slot.", or something like that. Pass by those doors and go through the one on the side of the room opposite to where you came in. There, you should enter a small, empty room, with and item called "Mysterious Rock." floating in the center.
GRAB IT AND RUN BACK TO THE TRANSERVER!Now, there's nothing left to do but beat the game. If you beat Serpents Final Form, and save the game, your File should say "CLEARED!" on it. Load that file, and go talk to Fleuve in Area X-1 a couple times, and he should tell you that the Mysterious Rock is a new Biometal. Congradulations, you now have Model Ox.
