I'm not sure whether this fits in this controversial board, but i find this topic too unsuitable to be in the Others board or the General Board.
These days, people are lacking of morality and they breed bad and worse values. Greed, Pervert, Jealousy and many others. They fit in the reality too well, in fact, too well until they had neglected the good values they should have. One simple example. Imagine if you come upon a wallet on the ground and no one will notice your actions. What will you do? Pick it up and return it to the owner or to the police? Or keep it for yourself, thinking that you OWNED it? Well, to those who will return the wallet, i respect you. But majority of the people in the society nowadys will just keep it as a sign of his/her own. Don't believe? This is reality.
Another better example. A universal reality rule (created by my own point of view) NO ONE CAN EVER SATISFY HIM/HERSELF. The only way to do so is to make yourself feel satisfied. Why do i say so, you may ask. About those sex matters related to this, I will not mention because it is well known. On other matters, if you get a profit, you won't sit down and feel happy about it. In fact, you'll feel greedy and unsatisfied. Hence, you'll keep on pushing yourself to your limits, and would do ANYTHING to get a better profit. Where are you morality? This is life. Isn't life part of reality?
I'm not sure what you guys will think about me.....but it just makes feel sad because one, i had to face reality, with or without morality. Second, i feel sad because we're now in a great and advanced world yet full of degraded human within the corrupted society........i just hope we could consider about morality though......

Most do not realize, it does not matter who you are, do something morally wrong, and IT DOES come back and you pay some how. This thing called "karma," I've have seen how it always works with many others. Even me, I long ago made the mistake of not doing an important job I said I would do, I thought nothing bad would come out of it, but yet, I can't say what it was for personal reasons, but I payed for not doing what I said I would... I payed dearly.
So my lesson learned, to do as I say I will do. That's a main part of being moral.
About the part: "On other matters, if you get a profit, you won't sit down and feel happy about it. In fact, you'll feel greedy and unsatisfied. Hence, you'll keep on pushing yourself to your limits, and would do ANYTHING to get a better profit. Where are you morality? This is life. Isn't life part of reality?"
Not everyone is like that. I don't ever feel like that. I would never just do "anything" to help myself, ignoring the well being of others. Of course, I'm not pointing at you saying you are, or anyone here.

I'm glad someone decided to make a thread like this...
I've always held my moral values dear, and I've always been disgusted with mankind. People have no moral values now days. Very few people have any real morals. People just can't be trusted in this day and age.
If you think about it, 50 years ago kids would be able to walk the streets of their hometowns, they'd be able to hang out with their friends, and parents wouldn't have to worry much, but now, parents can't really let their children out of their sight without worrying about their kids getting abducted and finding them dead somewhere... How messed up is that?
And as JY pointed out, people now days are so greedy. Alot of people would do anything for money... And on the matters of sex. Back in the good old days, High school sweethearts would get married and be plenty happy for the rest of their lives. Today, we constant divorces, and girls as young as 13 sleeping around with guys as old as 20... How disgraceful is that?
Personally, I've always liked the sound of the "No sex till you're married" thing, but I don't really get on peoples cases for not doing that. Just have some control, is all.
I don't know how mankind got to be so messed up, but we're not going to last much longer if society stays on this downward spiral...

World War II. >_______________>;;;;; Most do not realize, it does not matter who you are, do something morally wrong, and IT DOES come back and you pay some how. Everything does have a consequence, good or bad, but its not exactly determined by how you act or think or anything. =P

Nightmare... After reading this post from you I can honestly say from deep in my heart, my trust in you has all just grew an outstanding amount! You are an 'exact' copy of my thoughts and feelings about this matter. I am sorry this comes across so sudden, but because of your words. I now consider you from just an above average companion, now to as a very close friend to me; in my view.
To Elusis: Supernatural matters where not running through my thoughts. That's just what "they" call it. And so I use that word to help in everyones understanding.
And: "Everything does have a consequence, good or bad, but its not exactly determined by how you act or think or anything"
True on that one. Although how you act or think can effect what happens to you, depending on the choices you make from those thoughts.

But that's not exactly "karma" coming to get you. >.>;; Half of it relies on the reaction of the other "side" whether that's the police or your boss etc.

Elusis. You make a right point. But I don't think you realize that I don't mean of "job" as in a form of work that could get you fired, or busted by police. Otherwise, I would not of said it was "personal," and would go to full detail on what it was. This so called "job" I meant was a matter of something between my father and I. And I badly wish to put this aside now, since I am no longer naive/stupid as I was, and this is starting to get to me damaging wise. Perhaps I should of made all of that more clear... Why do I also get the feeling of your tying to get back on me for what I told to you on my thread in the fan fic board... And what's up with you and this karma stuff? Like I said, I just use that word so everyone will get a idea of what I am trying to make clear. No supernatural things in my mind; I keep saying. That's just what I find people (the ones I see,) like to call what happens when you pay for doing something morally wrong, that you should not.

My point was you don't actually pay for anything you do that's immoral without outside interference. =P

nightmare i find your post has no facts. they may be right they may be wrong however whether the holocaust happened, i dunno. i wasnt round in 50 years. so for me everyday is the same in the way their are new challenges. as well as in older days with less divorces it is likely there was more abuse or there are simply more options now in present time than before and people do not try to commit more and abandon any possibility of being happy. money was an object before money was invented. land, a woman, water etc. death , abuse and rage usually ensue because of want. money now gets everything we want except the inevitable, time. so people will f#ck. how can you say there was less child molestation. ive read the rules but i would argue evidence leans more towards you being wrong. you should abandon disgust for an attempt of understanding.
morals, religion, hope, evil, greed, god, etc. is imaginary made words/idealogies and basically BS. morals are made up to explain why people take actions since there is no real explanation. this cannot be measured nor can intelligence be compaired between 2 different pepole. religion is made for poeple cant beleive in themself or are nervous and want to be judged for whats wrong/wright. they beleive in something that is impossible to be explained logically.they want to be perfect. being perfect in the eyes of society has little to say about one persons true self. greed is used as an excuse for why people would simply take something and not care. because you dont control the world you are eager to harness it. which is what people that are dependent try to do. they find similarities and relationships are formed. this is the fall of independance. people are naturally lazy. sadly this leads to people later being robbed and raped of everything. and it is unbalanced. evil is used when there is something that people fear pproaches and rather than face it they run or barry it. it is all interpretation. will you think or act? feel the rush or think and ponder... these imo are the 2 different types that seperate people etc. its all interpretation that leads to an action. not beleifs. beleifs are always compramised and broken. it is also imposible to predict the future and assess situations properly in accordance to peoples wishes. the only way is self punishment which holds people back and is very difficult. for me survive is all that matters. everyman for himself. some people feel good aiding others others dont care. you must do actions that allow you to get what you want and you must assess whether what you want is what may be lost.
if in theory everything is made up code/digits, do you think everything ends starts, simply continues or repeats itself.

.... Well, what do we have here? A free-thinker, an atheist too? Rules adn religion are meant to guide humans along the path of good, and I applaud the truth of Nightmare's facts. Sad to say, most people who don't believe in virtue and diviniy and morality are all lonely people. I know that so I say this to you. Mindm y words, but I feel those opinions are really strongly Marxist - everyone for himself, blah blah blah.
Speaking of which, morality is in the decline whether you like it or not. Countless people are ill-mannered and breach many laws and destroy their own consciousness. Hevenly Father feels so sad. And here's this paper article I read to prove Nightmare is right. The nerve of some people (in the article)...
25 YEARS FOR US SEX FIEND GIRL, 15, TELLS OF PACT WITH MUM’S LOVER
Muskegon (Michigan) – A Michigan man who pleaded no contest to entering a sex pact with his girlfriend and her 15-year old daughter and having sex with a 12-year old relative was sentenced to up to 25 years in prison.
Michael J. Fitzgabbon, 37, was sentenced on Friday up to 15 years for each of the four counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct after prosecutors said he, his girlfriend and her daughter signed a contract, allowing the teen to be his sex partner for two months.
The case arose when Fitzgabbon’s girlfriend, afraid of losing him while recuperating from a surgery, allegedly arranged for herself, Fitzgabbon and her daughter to sign a contract in June (2006).
Reportedly, in exchange for sex, the teen testified she was to be paid and receive privileges, such as piercings, hair dye and permission to stay overnight with her own boyfriend.
The girlfriend, whose name is not being made public to protect her daughter’s identity, has been charged with three counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct with a person 13 to 17 years old and is scheduled to stand next month (April 2007).
Authorities investigated after the 15 year old told a relative in July (2006).
Michael Fitzgabbon was also sentenced to 12 to 25 years for each of the two charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct for having sex with the 12 year old girl. All six sentences are to be served concurrently.

so you have files on every living human in the 50's and before as well as every living being to date? history repeats itself that is obvious but saying streets were safer in the 50's is not fact. maybe it was for little america but will you limit your view to such a small level and eventually seperate yourself. as for breaching law well law=BS. why? cuz in accordance to your law i am not suppost to act on my own and go kill the sick f#ck. which is why he is alive. so would you rather uphold laws wqritten by some people some amount of time ago or chose and act to what "you" think is right. in the 50's prozac's side effects went unannounced and killed poeple or turned soe into veggies. that was done so drug companies could gain $. people need to beleive in themselves more. if not yourself than someone else. not thin air. strong means you can stand alone right? so to be banished is not what i mean. to do want you want with your strength. you will help somebody but you dont want them to depend on you and not be independant.

Nightmare's points is that back in the 50s or so, whatever he said is true. People didn't have to fear their children got raped or anything, and then that time the family was established at safe levels of ages and maturity and everyone was happy.
But what of now? Due to the rise of technology, people feel TOO MUCH what they do is right and they can do anything they want. What you are saying is that people have the right to do what they want and they have unlimited freedom in everything.
That kind of concept of freedom is just plain wrong.
There are laws to guide us, but naturally laws are not prefect yet. Just because a few companies earn extra cash out of nowhere it doesn't mean that the legal system should be faulted based on this. But that is becuase eother responsible agents are not performing or the comapnies can find loopholes and just don't care.
That is the fault of the person, NOT the system.
You are saying the opposite - companies earn extra because the law is corrupt and such, and that is why I consider your opinions Marxist. Marx in his day thought the whole system is causing a group of peopel to suffer and they should be abolished.
What you are calling for is to screw away the laws and people do what they think is right. NO. That is very wrong, and even defies the concept of proper freedom. Too little freedom is just as bad as too much freedom.
Proper solution - people have their freedom, but the laws is to ensure they are punished. Otherwise? Well, they have their fun for now, but later tehy will be punished for sure. One way or anotehr.
Shorter conclusion - people have the freedom but THEY SHOULD BE STRICTLY LIMITED.

I agree with the OP. Morality has severely gone downhill. Hell, you can see that from TV. Look at commercials like the Enzyte commercials or Maxoderm. Even ten years ago crap like that was relegated to the back of pr0n mags. Now I can't watch a full TV show without seeing one of those damn ads. I'll cut it short there.
