BOO!
Can a Nuclear Bomb destroy a ghost? Or do you end up with a radioactive ghost?
Also: If you sing the same part of a Britney Spears song over and over, will the ghost leave?

EDIT: Off topic, but can you please not put joke answers on polls in the controversial board? They're annoying enough on normal polls, but we're kinda here for serious discussion. Forgive me. Before i begin, may i inform you guys about the definition of the word 'ghost' in the dictionary. Ghost is the spirit of a dead person who appears again Refer to this meaning, and reply better next time. Ghosts and spirits are the same. Anyway, i have heard of theories from other people, and for THAT, please take note that i won't mention about God, as that would make my point of view hypocritic, and some of you guys being ignorant about it. Ghosts or spirits (which i prefer the word 'Unseenables' as a general) only appear when you believe that they exist. Because you believe they exist, but you can't see where they are or what they'll do to you, you'll generate fear within you, and THAT - which is negativity, is what ghosts like and are attracted to. The more you believe and feel afraid of them, the more they love to come and either haunt you or terrify you, just for fun. After all, that's what most ghosts do while drifting around our world. What else could they do? And for the ghosts murdering incidents, they usually do so in seek of revenge and hatred to someone. Maybe you have accidentally insulted their deaths or stepped over their tombstone. They won't do so unnecessarily. If you think they will, i suggest you start believing in the facts instead of the movies and shows you watch. Go and bet with one of your friends to sleep in a cemetery for a day, and you'll find out that this isn't a nice joke or issue to talk about. Some of us do believe, hence some of the unexplainable happenings are instantly converted by the mind to ghosts pranks or actions by unseenables. But does that mean that people who don't believe in ghosts could actually live and die his entire life without a ghost encounter at all? ( Reply for Swim. there are good and bad spirits of course. The reason to that would not be said here. Like i said, i won't talk about God for now.) You see, EVERYONE believes in ghosts. No doubt about that. Ask yourself. For those who believe in the existence of ghosts, you can stand with me. For those who don't, please be in mind that the human mind convinces you more than anyone or anything else. Which means, for example, when suddenly the open door of your room slams WITHOUT anyone near it or the wind blowing it, will you 100% think it's no ghost act? You can't control your mind from thinking, your mind thinks in two ways: positive and negative. And when your mind comes to the negative side, you'll start recalling about what your friends said about the existence of ghosts and their doings, and maybe even what is discussed right here. You will, unknowingly, start to BELIEVE that they are around somewhere, and you start thinking the negative way, and speaking in a psychological way, you are influenced by your own mind without you knowing it. Negativities are generated, and i will not say what will happen next. You can't deny it. In the end, whether it's a few minutes, temporary or long-term, there IS a period where you'll believe in ghosts or spirits, by hook or by crook. But of course, for me, i choose to believe in them, but i will not feel afraid. In fact, i will respect their existence. Well said. Awaiting for any other disagreements.

I deny the existence of ghosts completely. I'm a Nihilist, so it wouldn't make sense if I did. And if for two seconds the idea of a ghost pops into your mind doesn't mean you believe in them, the idea of ghosts are part of our culture so its only natural that it would come to mind. Ghosts don't exist because they imply that there is an afterlife, which I strongly believe there is not.

It is commonly held that ghosts are the spirits of those who have passed on. And certainly not a makeup of DNA, since DNA is something physical. I propose that the ghosts take the forms of their bodies when they were alive, for the preservation of self-identity.
Taking that into account, the first sentence, so assuming that you believe that there is no afterlife, of which ghosts go to when they pass on ...
Where would you go to? Do you want to accept the assumed fate that your spirit and soul will vanish and dissipate away without a trace? No continuance of life after death?

I want to simply die and stay dead. This life is stressful enough, worrying about whats going to happen to you after you die is over the top. Not only that, no real accounts of what the afterlife is like have been produced, so even then I really have nothing to be looking forward to in the event of an afterlife.
