Your Plan for a Post Apocalypse Life

I'm glad I'm in a place not so much affected by the recent economic turmoil. Over here, the issue of the US turmoil affecting us is like a non-event.

If America somehow went to hell...

I'd become one of those guys you see wearing the Rambo headband and ammunition belts roaming the country-side in a large armored vehicle, gathering members and forming a rebel group that will colonize the charred remains of America.

There'd be awesome shootouts, explosions, turf wars, and all that good stuff.

That's a pretty big "If" though...

Cuz either way I'd probably do the same as Nightmare. I'd withdraw all my money, get myself a gun and a place to sit and ride it out.

Fixed. Well me and a friend of mine are working on blue prints for a kickass zombie/bear proof cabin. Its coming a long quite well.

I've long since had plans for a zombie-proof bus, its an extension of the paintball bus I submitted for last summer's carnival. Should keep us safe even in the most crowded of streets.

I'd get a sniper and a shitload of ammo, then set up a minefield and build a fortress in the middle. Then I'd snipe anything that comes close. D:

You can always train in the use of swords and fists and at the same time guns.

After that, when it all happens, pick up your sword or just wear some sturdy gloves, and if its zombies, punch your way through. Remember, the FACE. Make sure you have multiple people with you.

Make your way to the nearest weapon store, then grab whatever you can carry with you. I recommend you store it into a truck, so that you can carry a LOT of ammunition and weaponry. Make sure to have a lot of people with you, if there's not enough to fit in the truck, get them to grab a few nearby cars, stuff any supplies like food and drink in the truck, and then be off.

Just go around until you can find a suitable place to hold off. Be sure to go nomadic, as you're always bound to run out of ammo.

That, or go Chuck Norris on them and kick their brains out.

Ok for one, where I'm going there can be no raiders. I'm on a lake surrounded by mountains on two sides, a canyon on the other, and the side that isn't "protected" is still insanely remote from anything or anyone. I'm thinking about saving up for a sea plane so I could just fly up there. It's a 14-16 hour drive from my house right now to get to the lake, afterwards I'll have to set up camp and sleep for the night. Next day I'll trek in through the woods around the lake to the cabin and take all my supplies.

Sure I'll have guns, but I'd only ever need to use them on elk, moose, bear, and squirrels. I plan on having chickens and rabbits as my main meat supply. I'll also be growing potatoes, onions, carrots. That coupled with the natural supply of animals, berries, fish, and water, I think I should be alright.

Trust me, I've been planning this for a while.
