Which ones do you like the most? Personally, it's a tie between Sony and Microsoft. The Guitar Hero Series for Sony have been major hits, as well as Halo for Microsoft. They've done awesomely, and have surpassed the father of gaming: Nintendo. Nintendo lost their touch after the DS and Gamcube. The Wii is a lame attempt at reclaiming their title. I'm a huge critic on this topic, if you haven't noticed already I vote Sony, since they're awesome!

The Wii is God's gift to gaming. It revolutionized video gaming as we know it, and besides, Nintendo has always been the king of video games.
Microsoft... Eh. They should stick to computers. The Xbox isn't so bad though. It's a cool system, it just doesn't really have many good games for it....
Sony was cool until the PS3. The PS3 is Satan's gift to gaming, it empties your wallet and burns down your house. >.>;
For the record, F**k Halo and lolguitarhero, go play Zelda and DDR. XD

For the meantime I vote for Nintendo since they have the DS console so that ZX and ZXA can be played. Indeed the Wii is widely acclaimed everywhere for its brand new techno features. PS3 is really a terrible bite of the cake.

Insulting the Wii isn't a wise move around here. Nintendo has been, is now, and will always be top dog in the gaming world.
Microsoft was my least favorite until the PS3 came out. Sony really did shoot themselves in the foot with that one, and the 360 is looking fairly decent to me. But Nintendo continues to innovate and make gaming a new and exciting experience for everyone.
Nintendo has all of my favorite series except Final Fantasy, including Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Trauma Center, and more. I'm not gonna pay 500 dollars for a system that only has Final Fantasy. A 360 would be nice, but I don't want to actually buy one. I'd like it as a gift, though.

I don't like the whole Wiimote thing. You have to get up and be active. I'm already active enough, I don't need to break a sweat trying to relax and play a game.

Have you ever actually played the Wii? The only games you should break any sort of sweat on are the ones that are specifically designed to get you up and moving. It's just like DDR. If you don't want to sweat, don't play it. All the other games are just like normal games with a different control scheme. (1337 posts, btw.)

*can't vote*
I say Nintendo, because without the original games that they created (i.e. Mario, Metroid and Zelda), gaming as we know it would suck, not to mention that the Wii and DS could be seen as two generations forward of what is availible now.
So we should thank that little card game company that turned into the Video Game Haven that it is.
Microsoft is a good company, and they have a great online service, the 360 isn't a bad console either, and the library of games they have varies.
And Sony...what can I say about Sony that wasn't already said? Sony was awesome until the PS3, but that's not saying that the PS3 sucks entirely, it seriously needs to be overhauled in order to fix the massive hardware problems, and to lower the cost.

You can delete this poll. I understand people love Nintendo here more than any other counsel.

Microsoft isn't as bad as everybody says, all you seem to hear around here is 'lolhalo' and although Halo is the biggest thing on the Xbox, its not all they have. I think they have a better variety of games than Sony by far. You do tend to get darker games than Nintendo features, other shooting games, the best Star Wars games (Knights of the Old Republic and Battlefront) and I can see where that'd appeal to more mature audiences.
That being said, Nintendo may have brighter graphics but its games are the most creative and fun to play. Nothing comes close to Zelda games, they come up with new stuff each game and yet they stay true to the winning formula that makes them great. And Smash Bros. may not be as 'dark' as some games but that's what makes it fun and different. You don't have to be 5 to love Nintendo.
However, if you need some more mature and graphic games, pick up a 360 and a Wii. The two of them together are still going to be cheaper than the sucky paperweight that Sony calls a console. The only thing that makes me want Sony is Final Fantasy and as someone said, that series is not enough to make me buy a PS3.

I, like most of the other people here, vote Nintendo. I've been playing games on Nintendo systems for as long as I can remember... and I don't see why I should stop now. Oh, and one more thing... The Guitar Hero Series for Sony have been major hits You do realize that Guitar Hero III is not only on the PS3 but 360 and Wii as well?

id almost say Nintendo just for the nes. nesfan: ILOVE THAT 2D $#!+ Nintendo is the old dog you know, wiii don't really care about the wii when i here Nintendo, cool new tricks but i wonder how long it will last? i remember the n64 came out and i was psyched but now it looks to me as one of the worst consoles ever. game cube wasn't much either, spelled kid all over it cept Nintendo's commercials mushrooms/rat. so IFi voted for Nintendo it would be for the nes/snes/gb(a) course depends on what aspect. for me its the xbox. and ya cuz a halo, but not cuz I'm 0wn'n people online masterspartan117: you got owned b!tch! *tbag* to me its the story arc world and excitement i spose i had when i got the box, spose you could say nostalgia. the xbox has other games i like which aren't from long going series and if they are, they're still new. to me thats the xbox/x360, mostly i like their controllers (well not the duke). aah Sony. you're ps2 had some stuff i loved but i also kinda hated it. my theory is (1)there were too many rpg like games or ones that i call ~slow~. mainly i liked fighting/sports/racing. (2) the graphics when i look back s#ck (as well for n64). obviously 3d gaming had to start somewhere, but i much preferred a game with sprites. (3) to this day if i play too long with a ps controller It hurts my hands. this reason is obviously very personnel. of course even though i hate the controller the ps2 has many awesome games. cool 2d $#!+ from japan, stuff you cant get on the GC or the box. Also the graphics don't hurt my eyes. with probly the second biggest library of games and the fact it was "simple". wanna buy a new console while selling your ol one and still play the games "simple", wanna fair price "simple", use tour old controller "simple".
overall i just love video games. ill give a vote to Microsoft for the x n the 360 since they're isn't one and cuz out of both generations i bought the box first.
