Life-size rant coming up:
My school has a "limit" on how many parental excuses you can have without a doctor's excuse. To me, that just sounds like complete and utter bigotry to give students detention even though their parents say that they were sick.
What I don't get is: WHY impose a limit? Parental notes should be enough. It doesn't matter if what you were sick for is silly, they should work. They have in the past, and I'm not gonna get detention simply because the school says that parental notes aren't worth crap any more.

XD My high school has gotten worse every year, good thing I'm out of there...it's tough running a high school when it has about 5,000 students in it. (That's really how many people it has)

Its cuz so many parents will lie to get their kid out of school if they want. I don't really care, when they never graduate I'll laugh.

Since this is the thread for making points, I thought I'd post this link here: www.nydailynews.com/front/story/402855p-341181c.htmlThis was in the paper on Saturday. Seriously, talk about f*cked up justice! The guy got his legs chopped off by a train because he was running on the tracks completely drunk, yet they still award him 1.4 million dollars. WTF?! He shouldnt have been drunk in the first place! Just read...
