I'm working on a top-down shooter game that's based on aircraft and plays like classic 2D top-down space-based shooters. I just want to know which sounds like the best name, or if there's a name not listed, please tell me.

I think best name is Starfighter X-03 it's sound some how good name..

by top down shooter... would it be anythin liek those games 1943/1942 i think they wer called... n u had a lil plane an shot stuff... or more liek gradius?

All the graphics will be compeltely scratched by hand by me. The story goes as this: In the year 2359, a race of aliens known as the Scorpions silently attacked Alpha Wing's space colony, forcing it to collide with Earth. The damage was devastating. Members of Alpha Wing then scrambled to space, searching for the Scorpions. They were vanquished upon encounter.
Not so soon after, the Scorpions invaded, attacking all of Earth's major military forces & defenses, leaving humans stranded. This was a time where nationality did not matter. The world was united for one purpose: to fight the Scorpions. Almost every soldier fought to his or her own death in the name of Earth, and Earth alone. The battle seemed to be a stalemate, until a terrible new machine was completed. This new machine destroyed all of the Earth's army, leaving them helpless.
After a century of hiding, Kyo Suzaku, a rookie pilot trained on simulators, decides to form a squad and fight the Scorpions. Taking his new starfighter made up of state-of-the-art technology, Kyo blasts off from the hidden base, set for the other hideouts, in an attempt to recruit allies.The first paragraph's gonna be converted into a 'introduction scene' to the game. |
