So, since it's been a while, I decided to make a controversial post.
We all know now that the world is under crisis. Wars at Gaza, the economic downfall after the fall of the Brothers' company, global warming, corruptions and many other negativities, polluting the Earth that we once known as 'a planet of peace and harmony'. Do you think on the positive side, that one day Earth will be restored to its previous self, where humans can hold hands together despite races and relligions and share the same bright sun with love and harmony? Or maybe you're thinking on the realistic side, whereby people are naive to wish for peace, because humans had been foolish enough to act as they will, which in the end destroys Earth and themselves?
Sorry if the poll answers make you hesitate, but I'm trying to see whether you guys strongly agree, agree, disagree or strongly disagree over this matter. Well then, share your thoughts people.

I voted Yes.
We're on the way there. The efforts are of small step, but will lead to great positives in the future. People can no longer afford to be ignorant about many issues plaguing this world in many forms and all will contribute to solving these problems.
And so vanishes the ideas of an apocalyptic world with zombies and whatever, a nuclear war destroying the planet, decimation of the human race and blah blah blah. Why? At the current politcal mentality of the world, all these is just impossible. And that good political and social mentalities will blossom and grow ever stronger.

I'm not going to say out my opinions for the time being, hopefully the others will voice out theirs first. All I can say is that I voted for the 2nd answer. For some reasons, I can't stop thinking that maybe the world will only be at peace when a big disaster happened, people regret for what they did, start to redeem themselves and make Earth a better place to live in. Sounds dramatic, but it makes sense.

I agree with Spex. It's just wishful thinking. It's naive to think that there'll ever be a day where the whole world can be at peace.
Somewhere, somebody's gonna have it better than the others, and that's gonna cause resentment and hostility, and people are gonna disagree and eventually either birth prejudice or fight. It's basic human nature.

I believe in Hell on Earth can be in just about every place. Heaven just exists in bedrooms and dark chambers in the back. Possibly.
