The shield could use a little work on the pose where he's holding it out in front of him. It seems a little flat and not rounded like it should be.
And the buster looks like a recolor of Zero's, I might be wrong, but that's what it looks like to me.

No, you are not wrong, it is Zero's buster. I will work on a custom buster later. But I fixed the sheild alittle. I hope this looks better.  C+C |

its cool but the shield is better but ide change the pose in cgenral to wher it looks like hes holding on his forearm

Like, take X's battle pose and edit it into Protoman X, and then edit the pose to where his (our right) arm is bent toward his chest and have the shield on it. I don't know how else to explain it.

you are ganna have them all with the scarf and shield right. well if you do that ide keep the sheet going with all sprites scarfed, and then make another version with shield, it looks good except the x battle pose on looks funny.

A few minor things. When he's laying down, there's no white trim on the bottom of his feet, do somethin with that. Also, when his back is turned, his scarf isn't the same as the others, so pick one and go with it.

I personally don't think blue is a good saber color for protoman but that's just my opinion.
Good design overall, now just add some cool attacks that would make him better than protoman.

actually, I think blue saber fits well on him... gives a good contrast, keep it up.
