Ok, part of my goals was to make my first custom sprite... too bad I'm not that good yet...I think... well I made my own thread so I can show off some of the attempts I made, and so I can get some tips on how to be better at it Flames will be laughed at, followed by my current character killing the flamer in my comic XD Here's my first attempt:  |

I Just cant get a custom sprite right. Theres no such thing as a 'custom sprite' its either editing, or scratch spriting. Which I wouldn't label that scratch, because its obviously based. Scratch is when something is entirely made, pixel by pixel, no bases and all. Just thought I might clear up some confusions  . |

Well, technically Nick, "Custom" was the original term for scratch sprites back when spriting first became a popular form of art on the internet, but the term "Scratch" kinda took over, since it made more sense.
Regardless though, the sprite isn't that bad, the contrast needs some work.

Just a edit. I mean, its not scratch. Just a zero body with some recolored head pasted on.

I have made a new sprite edit:  Its Model Kx, I'll give you three guesses what the K stands for XD I used a Model X stance and details from a Kraft sprite |

 Tried to make a MMZ in a FF1 8-bit style, it's my first attempt at this style Edited from the Ninja class in FF1 Personally: I think it looks fine, I just need to recolor it and and give it to Random for the ZVRPG |

I'm sorry, but I don't really like it... If you need it so bad, take this, recolor it, and give it to Random:  I dunno what sprite style Random wants, but this was something I was working on a long time ago. Feel free to use it. |
