Uh...wow. Surprised one of these didn't exist already. If it did, sorry, just delete this, but I didn't see one. *shrug* Basically just Rate the guy before you and post something of your own to be rated. Like so: Guy #1: I made this sonic sprite, etc. Chick #7: I like this and that the other, I give it a 7/10. Now here's something of mine. Say the person before you had nothing to post. In this case, just post a piece of your work. Do not intentionally ignore the person before you though. Feel free to rate something that has already been rated by someone else IF you have a different opinion on the matter, but don't just reiterate what someone else said. Please don't post recolors... Now that that's said, let's get this show on the road. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my alter-ego. Not a fan character, just a representation of "Arrow-1" in the style of Mega Man X1-3 (one of my favorites, as is probably evident by this point).

...Fan what? Please don't spam, threads of this kind are important, as they help spriters to gauge their ability as compared to others.

What he's saying is we've already got a member that goes to other's threads and rates their sprites. It didn't blow over so well at first, but it's not too bad now. But meh, I guess I'll show my sprite sheet.

@bb: Good Edit but I can still see X. Shinryu is still awesome. 7/10. Maybe a slightly changed face could do some good? Now, me. Sunstar in MMX32Bit Style.

I rate Sunstar ver. MMX: 9/2 out of 10. The right arm (our left) could use some fine tuning; such as a lighter color for the line art of that arm in some places, like where the light hits it. All and all, everything else about it is excellent to my eyes. Haha! He speaks about a close friend of mind called MsiaFanWriter, who used to go around seriously rating arts, and many didn't like it, thus it broke into a huge flame war. But all is well now.

Ah, now I'm informed. At first I thought he was accusing me of being someone who wrote fanfiction. @__@ Anyhow, I've done a lot with this character since the last post, look here. The ones in Firing Stances are 80% edited, everything else is 100% custom. Doing this gave me an idea. Since my game is fan made, (which I'm thinking about just making a game out of with simple code for people to edit) I'm not restricted to the animal maverick system. I think I want to make a bunch of special humanoids, like this one, and use them as bosses. This way I don't have to make silly names, or use elemental weaponry for each boss. Sound good, or bad?

You surely aren't. I myself have been grown tired of the always-animal-mavericks-got-to-kill concept of the X series...it's really silly now. I mean, generally why when the humanoids do so much damage, it's almost only animal type reploids being hunted/killed; and the humanoids basically get away to do more. >.> Sigma and Vile are the only exceptions. Anyways, I say yes! Go for it! And the progress you show here is pro' looking.

A friend of mine is making a game, and he's asking me to take a sort of backseat adviser kind of a role- not doing anything important, just killing any glitches or pushing him forward if he gets stuck. He sent me a character design for the main player armor today, and I decided to try and sprite it (in pieces) just for the hell of it. Here's his pic, and below it, my sprites.

Looks pretty good, although I can't really tell which part goes where yet.

Oops! Um, the right piece is the chest and stomach, while the left is the upper arm.
