All you did for your VirusMaverickZero sprite is take someone else's PD work, Grid and Oakie, in their rendition of Zero in MMX1 and recolor the shoulders to a darker grey. And don't give me that excuse of it not being done, don't post it if up here for criticism if it isn't finished.
The second one.. Well.. It works, but edit the parts so we can't tell youused Duo for the upper body, Sword for the lower, and Tengu for the weapon. Make each part unique and then you'll have a good sprite.

<UPDATE> I edited the MZ sheet. It had one lack of detail. It got much more detail now.

Not bad, though the shoulders should have the same color as the the other white parts of the body. You're good at this already, just make sure both shoulders look the same and with a minor lighting error corrections you've got yourself a perfectly good set of sprites.
I'm impressed, in short.

I have both sets of sprites and there are many differences. Not just a recolor. Look before you blatently accuse, pal. They're very different.

I heard somebody uses his sprite in a comic, but that is the only thing I ever heard of Oakie. The only sprites I used are: X5 Sprite sheet. X6 Sprite Sheet AND X1 Sprite sheet for shoulder example. (and the Flashback Zero VS Sigma for detailed look)

<UPDATE> I edited the MZ sheet. It had one lack of detail. It got much more detail now. Let's see. The shoulders look pillow shaded and he doesn't look evil enough. In the flashback, MZ looked and acted evil. He doesn't seem that evil to me at the moment. Also that last sprite in the top far right looks... It just doesn't look right. Fix those and I think we've got ourselves a Maverick Zero ;D <_< >.>; ~This Message has been brought to you by Amateur Spriter Nova and Pie, especially Cherry~

I notice a mistake on Maverick Zero that even Capcom made. Zero never origianlly had boobies. They were added when Sigma had him rebuilt in X2. It's okay. Even Capcom made that mistake in the MMX4 flash back. Just look at Zero's sprites in X1 and You'll see that I'm right.

How do you know that the made the mistake in MMX$ flashback? Maybe it was a mistake in the MMX1. In Megaman Maverick Hunter X zero had booblights.

Hmm, I do have seen a similar sprite of your MMX1 zero. It was on Drshnaps Production in a comic called Nameless.
But I`m saying I have seen a similar, not saying you stole it. =3

The only difference that I can even slightly notice is that his shoulders look like pompoms...
