[OK, this is a Round Robing Fic. The way a Round Robin Fic works is that I start a story and then others continue it. It's one of my favorite things to do on forums like this]
In a dark room, a shadowy figure lightly chuckled when a computer screen blinked to life. On the screen was a NetNavi in black armor with a red visor over his eyes and medium length silver-blue hair coming out from under his helmet.
"Dynamo, is it done?" the figure asked as he sat just outside the light projected by the screen. Dynamo gave a thumbs out.
"The security overrides, the fake announcement, and your special program are all set up just the way you wanted."
"Mweh heh heh. Good. You may inform you NetOp that I have transferred the promised payment into his account."
"Will do. Nice doing business with you."
*The next day...*
"For crying out loud Netto-kun! You're a two whole HOURS late for school!"
Netto glared at his PET screen.
"Would you quit with that already? I'm going to get enough of it from Meiru-chan and Ms. Mari as it is."
Rockman sighed. "OK, I'll concede on that point. But you'd still better hurry."
The rest of the way to school continued in silence. Then Netto suddenly stopped just outside the entrance.
"What's going on Netto-kun? Hurry up before you get in even more trouble." Rockman paused for a moment. "Netto-kun, what's all that noise?"
"Uh, Rockman, I'm going to turn the PET so you can see what's going on. You'd better brace yourself."
When Netto turned the PET, Rockman gasped. All the students were either demolishing the school, or beating each other senseless. Meiru was grappling with another fifth grade girl. Dekao was tearing up the flower garden. Tohru was in a fist fight with a slightly larger boy. Yaito was throwing rocks at the windows.
"Oh man, this is bad. Rockman, see if you can get in contact with the others!"
"Right!"
Rockman did scan for possible connections, and miraculously connected with Meiru's PET. There he found Roll, her face stained with tears.
"Oh Rockman, thank goodness you're here!"
"Roll-chan, what happened here?"
"Well, just as class was about to begin, the PA announced an emergency staff conference in the teachers' lounge. As far as Glyde can tell, the teachers are all still locked in there. Anyway, about ten minutes after that, all the screens in the classrooms started producing these weird lights and sounds. It only lasted a few minutes, but then all the students, Meiru-chan included, suddenly went beserk."
Rockman rubbed his chin. "Hmm, sounds like someone put a virus in the school's network system. Netto-kun, I need you to plug me in there."
"Sure thing Rockman! One Plug-In coming right up!"
But just then Tohru knocked out the boy he was fighting with, and set his red-tinted eyes on Netto....
